Happy Black Cat Appreciation Day everyone.

Here are some pictures of my two black cats. Bellatrix Le Stray and Narcissa both came in at separate times to a vets I was working at as strays and found their furever home with me. They pretend they don’t get on but secretly I think they love each other as I catch them grooming each other on occasions. I’d love to see other people’s black cats.

This morning was my last visit with these little cuties! They have been the best and I thoroughly enjoyed looking after them!

As it’s so lovely out I decided to take my youngest Narcissa out for a little walk for sunshine & fresh air!

Don’t forget all your cats need to be microchipped by the 10th of June or you could face a fine! Call your local vets to book in for it to be done.

Sorry for the silence I was at my regular RVN job last week looking after lots of sick animals.

I’m back now with availability for nail clips, pop in visits & dog walks.

Below is the gorgeous Gus who needed his nails clipped today. He wasn’t a fan but still wanted lots of love and fuss after it. Hopefully with time he’ll become a fan especially if he gets treats afterwards!

Cats are very good at hiding the signs of arthritis and, unlike dogs, are unlikely to alert their owners to a problem by limping or becoming lame.

Say hello to Arthur (brown) and Costa (white) who both had their nails cut today. Arthur is a little nervous of having them cut but was such a good boy with lots of love and fuss. Costa took it all in her stride while enjoying a treat!

If you need your dog or cat’s nails cut then please message me. I’m happy to work with nervous pets as well and will take it at their own pace to make it as less stressful as possible.

My name is Tamsin and I have been in the veterinary industry for 7 years and qualified as an RVN just over 2 years ago. For the last 6 years I have been working nights as an ECC nurse. I decided to set up as a pet sitter to run along my permanent job as I have lots of free time with my new job and I love getting to meet and help new pets.
I have two very spoilt black cats at home called Bellatrix & Narcissa who I took on as strays that came in to a practice. I do also have a special place in my heart for rats as I have owned many in my life. I’m based in Westcliff-on-sea but happy to travel to surrounding areas. So hello to the beautiful Lilibet (aka Lili) who I’m doing pop in visits on this weekend while her mum does something amazing for charity ❤️.

During one of these pop in visits I will stay with your pet for 30 minutes or longer and give them lots of love and fuss, clean out litter trays, refresh water, feed and then even more fuss & love (plus treats if allowed). Say hello to Cassie 😍. She had the honour of being my first client for a nail clip. She gets a little anxious going to the vet so the owners decided to have them cut at her house. She was the perfect girl for it and enjoyed a couple of hypoallergenic treats as well.

From 10 June 2024 cats over 20 weeks old must be and registered on a compliant database 📆

By microchipping their cats, owners can increase the likelihood that they will be reunited with their beloved pet in the event that they go missing.
