When I was away last week Dale had to make the impossible decision to let this gentleman go. It is with a heavy heart that we lost one of our originals. Toby who I walked for the best part of 11 years 💔We had trips, falls, bites but leave the dramas to one side, we had the best time and he was my best pal on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday for many many years. I’ve got the best memories with this boy! Thank you Dale for choosing me to walk your boy 🐾

Today we wanted to make a special announcement to little Derek who sadly lost his very short battle with cancer last week. It’s been an extremely sad time for James the last couple of weeks. Even more so as Derek was only 7 years old and as you can tell full of life. James has been walking Derek for 3 years so he was well cemented into the Essex Pet Services family! The little man was taken far too soon but he definitely left a his mark on everyone that knew him. Bundles of energy and bundles of character. Sleep tight little man! 💔🐾

I thought I would change it up this week and post something quite different. We always say how amazing it is to look after other people’s dogs and it’s the best job in the world. However when you lose one it does hit you hard and all the dog walkers/sitters know what I’m talking about. I suppose there are bad sides to every job!
As a rule, we don’t usually post about a loss of one of our dogs which I think we need to change 🐾

James has been walking little Peppa for 5 years and unfortunately she fell asleep on Monday 😞 To say James is heartbroken is an understatement and Peppas owner is like family. Everytime this happens we have to dust ourselves off and put a smile on and collect more dogs the next day. Peppa was a little star, she held her own. Never took any s**t and always was up front with James in the van. She was our little spoilt pooch that was apart of the Essex Pet Services team and we will all miss her. Especially all of James’s family who thought of Peppa as one of their own 💔 Sleep tight Peppa! You were a star 🌟 🐾 🌈 Please take some time to look at James’s amazing pictures of Peppa ❤️

Thanks for my last week guys! You all behaved yourselves amazingly like you knew it was my last week 😂😂 That’s it, all done 🥰 I’ve had amazing run but time for a change. It’s not goodbye it’s when you email, text me for boarding 😂😂 Love you all, you all are wicked 😘🥰❤️😉 Taking away some amazing memories and some amazing friends 🐾

Never thought this would be quite emotional as this is right now. Back in April 2012 I setup a little business in Grays and over 12 years later I’m saying goodbye to all my doggies, which some have been with me since the beginning 💔😢
So that’s come round quick. Friday 19th July will be my official last day for my walks and day care.
This is where it all began with Madonna and George! Please take time to look at our pictures ❤️I’ve had a blast. There have been great times and some real s**t times but through it all, you all have been there supporting, advising and a friendly smile at the door. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all your custom over the years. You and your pets have been amazing and I’ve made some real friends that I call family out of this business. Losing Donna and George was a little wake up call for me and Ryan, to remind us to go and do what we want to do and spend the last few years of Max and Hanks life just us. Life is too short to keep dreaming about what I would like to do. If you can, just do. Wish us luck we will need it 😉😂
We are continuing with the home boarding with Maddy and James and also James has a fantastic group in Chelmsford of walkers and day cares which we will continue. The way you book will remain the same for the above so hopefully will still remain in contact. Thank you again for everything. Still not sure how I’m going to walk away from all your front doors after dropping the dogs home and thinking I’m not going to be picking them up again. Put it this way I’m going to need a stiff drink every night on my last week. Thank You 🐶 💔💔💔💔😘😘😘😘😘
