I thought I'd met my match today.

A big, powerful dog with huge feelings.

An owner so dedicated to the dog to whom he's given a second chance at life, despite being bitten in the dog's episodes of overwhelming frustration.

Insane levels of dog reactivity.

I rolled up my sleeves, pulled up my leggings, tightened my pony tail, and got stuck in.

We had to create a better picture, and it had to happen quick.

The dog needed to know what was expected, and what was no longer allowed.

You can't do that with just love and cheese, and you can't do that with just punishment.

You've got to speak dog.

And you've got to listen.

We're by no means out of the woods, but her owner now has experienced the results they've been dreaming of.

Homework has been set, and I can't wait to see them next week.

Sometimes I need these dogs more than they need me.

I live for moments like this. 🧡

What a beautiful puppy she is...

For such a young dog, she's really well balanced.

She's crazy at the right times, and settles well when she's supposed to.

But as with a lot of puppies this age, other dogs are a huge distraction and cause difficulties on walks.

Luckily her wonderful humans realised where they were going wrong and are working incredibly hard.

Have you noticed how EVERYONE'S got an opinion on how you should be training your dog?

Especially people who've never had a dog, but watched that twit that wears a tie on the telly, so therefore now have a qualified opinion.

Or "my nanna used to breed those" people who know EXACTLY what your next move should be.

And the "I've had dogs all my life and they've never needed training because they know I'm the boss" bellends who've got no freaking idea that their dog is causing strife.

Do this. Don't do that. That's cruel. That's too soft. Show them who's boss. Let them lead you. They need to sniff. They need to say hello. Don't let them sniff. Don't play tug. Never let them win. Let them on your bed. Don't let them on the couch.

There's too many.

So this is where you can dump them.

Do what's best for YOU and YOUR DOG.

Enjoy your time with them.

If you need help, ask.

And enjoy telling interfering busy bodies to p**s off.

Because *They* say you can't train a Beagle.

But I say *They're* full of s**t.

This is Maple, she's currently our youngest member at just 5 months old.

As you can see, she loves to learn, and she's really smart.

She wants to work. So today, we spent some time creating tasks for her to really think about.

It was great fun, and this will only help to further strengthen the wonderful bond she has with her lovely human.

📚🐶 So it's back to school week… but your dog’s gone absolutely feral?

The kids are back in class, looking smart in their uniforms.
Meanwhile, your dog’s still running round your house like the class clown — scranning anything that isn’t nailed down, mouthing off every time you say “no,” acting like you don’t exist, and making a total show of you.

Listen, Sis… your pup’s basically been on a six-week bender.

It’s time to sort it.

Bring them to me and I’ll put the structure back in, knock the feral out of them (not literally, chill the f**k out 😉), and give you your sanity back.

I’m not here to mess about, I'm known for getting the job done — I’ll help you turn chaos into calm, and get your dog behaving better than half the kids in year 7. Which isn't too difficult coz most of them have been brought up by TikTok 🤦‍♀️
