Ralph the Cockapoo has been on a training programme with me recently.
His owners contacted me for help with a range of issues which sounded quite serious at first, but once we had a chat and got to the bottom of the problems, they were all interlinked and very much solvable.
Reactivity (human and dog), resource guarding, stealing, anxiety, demanding behaviour, and some disobedience, aren't unusual for the breed.
We came up with a detailed plan of action and changes to be made in the home.
His owners are absolute legends and so dedicated to getting results, they got stuck in immediately and could see improvement straight away.
Some things have taken longer than others, and this is very normal, but they've never given up.
Ralph is an absolute joy to be with and his new respect for his humans has benefited their relationships massively.
I'm so proud of them all.
Ralph, we can wait to see you at group events!!!
