This dude was reported and contained by my old boss. He named it Ali as its as annoying as I am apparently 😬 I assume a cat has had it due to being found next to a cattery and a cut on the wing with missing feathers. Now with rehabber getting some meds and some love. Hope he makes it. All the best Ali feel better soon x

Finally managed to haul my ass out of bed and get down to the lake and look who was there. The new Swan on the block dirty gerty. Settled in perfectly. Yaaaaay 💚 ( if you missed it this is the one who was in a potato field for at least 7 hours with no energy )

XL Bully dogs cannot be rehomed after 31/12/23, and will be illegal to own without an exemption certificate from 1/2/24. As a result many Bully dogs are being abandoned or placed in rescue. We want more time for owners to rehome or get exemptions, to avoid dogs being euthanised unnecessarily.

Well this was a mission! A lovely member of public got in touch over a lonely swan in a potato field. So I went to investigate with swan rescues jenny aka the swan ninja and a ninja indeed whilst me and my flab were just sinking in the mud and trying to wrestle my wellies back out of the mud jenny legged it ahead and managed get hold of swanny whilst I eventually made it over the mud with the swan bag 🤣🙈 we carried this big lady swan back and took her to marine Lake. She is still quite scared away from the others but at least she can clean herself she is safe and she can have some food 💚 we will be keeping an eye out for swanny over the next few weeks to make sure she settles it OK. We'll done jenny totally saved the day and thank u for the caring member of public who reported her to us. Now im off to scrub my feet and wash my wellies out 🙈 also if potato field owner sees this I am willing to pay for the spuds I may of disturbed whilst trying not to sink into my grave. 💚

UPDATE:

Ducky is doing well. Eating fine moving fine. Hes gone to chill with some other ducks for a bit where he is safe and can be watched. So over the next couple weeks will see how he gets on and if hes ok he can be released :) yay well done mr ducky 💚 big thanks to my animal peeps for sorting him out x

Today's save. Found this guy struggling at the lake. Hardly any energy at all. Didn't even fight me to escape. He's being warmed and loved. Being fed tiny bits of food and had some meds thanks to my lovely rehabber who squeezed him in. Hope he gets better soon but he is quite poorly. All the best lil ducky ur in good hands now 💚 everyone keep their fingers crossed for this guy xx

Disaster today. A poor deer was trapped from at least 7am this morning. Only over 11 hours later was the alarm raised as I was heading up to it the poor soul had passed away. Shocking that it was left all that time. Would of only taken a wire cutter to free him as well according to the woman who got to him. If you feel ypu would like to help in these situations. If you own a large set of ladders. Or tools. Anything like that please get in touch. We are always looking for people to help in the areas they can and are comfortable in. Every little helps it really does. Rip little one sorry humans let you down. 😢💔💚

Andreeeeeee!!!!! Canker has finally gone. He must feel so relieved. Though he is still sore so not attempting to eat on his own yet. He gets very excited when he sees the syringe 🤣 this lil dude loves a fuss and I mean absolutly adores a fuss he would let you smooch him all day 😍 keep going Andre you shock me every day with youre strength and determination. This poor dude had got himself in a tangle. I felt immediately claustrophobic when I saw it tied to both legs. He was fuming but he's back now. Luckily not embedded. Released 5 mins later vid in comments x

Hiya everyone this is today's shop. Big bag of meal worm. 2 bags of sunflower seed. 9 cornflakes 8 Porridge oats and 14 bags of peas. I buy this every 2 weeks for the birds. But this week I managed to use the donation money! Also have another 40kg of wild bird seed mix coming tomorrow. Today I have newspapers and duvet covers too as a donation. Plus very importantly my rehabber is stocked up on meds 😍So this post is really just a massive thank you to all who have donated anything ever. It really does go so far and really helps us out too financially. So thank you thank you thank you and to top it all off today I had snuggles and kisses with Andre who is still with us and looking bright 🥰 what a beautiful bunch you are. Today's fundraiser pulled in a few pounds. A recent generous donation topped up the rehabbers meds. The reindeer food sales has pulled in about 30 pounds and a kind donation from a fellow charity volunteer has fed my birds for 3 weeks. Even if you feel £1 won't help. Love is everywhere 😍

As the winter draws in and people start panicking about Christmas. There are still lots of wildlife who are Injured and hungry and need our help. If you could spare £1 to help feed a few beaks this season it would be super appreciated. I sleep alot better knowing these crops are full. Petrol in the tank and rehabbers stocked up on meds for these beautiful souls. We always need helpers too if you feel hands on. We need blankets and towels too.
