Dew claws awareness.
I can't highlight enough how important is nail care. This time l would like to focus on dew claws. These are examples of back dew claws that might be invisible in a fur but grow steadily and can be very painful when caught.

Envy came for her full upgraded grooming session, dental & nail care.
I used keratin argan mask to enrich her silk coat and put that shine back in! She was an absolute gem 💎

As cold weather surprised some of us please be careful and sensible while taking dogs for their walks.🐾❤

When considering walking your dog in cold weather, there’s a pretty simple rule to live by – if it’s too cold for you, it’s too cold for your dog.

But like humans, every dog is different. Where some dogs seem to be made for snow and wet weather, others can struggle in even the slightest of chills. The vet experts at Joii have given some guidelines to help you decide if you should brave the elements or stay in the warmth.

Just looking at the temperature on the thermometer (or if you’re like us, on your phone’s weather app) isn’t enough, you also need to take into account wind chill, wet conditions (rain or damp ground) and how sunny the day is. If in doubt, keep your walk short or skip it all together if your dog can toilet in the garden instead.

When Johnny first started with me, he was extremely shy, wouldn't engage and had very little faith.
It's not uncommon for dogs to need time and patience in order for them to truly flourish on our walks together.
This is where experience and knowledge comes in. With the correct approach from me, time, patience and consistency, Johnny has truly come out of his shell.
He engages in verbal commands, eye contact and general willingness to please. So much so, he's now trusted off the lead with solid recall to boot.
I'm proud of how he's opened up to me and it's rewarding to see how much he loves his off-lead runs, living his best life as every dog should do with us 🐾🧡🐾
