This little cutie joined us today for a short time for some work and training. Can’t wait to start work with him tomorrow. 😍

So little spirit has had a full MOT.

Jabs ✔️
Weighed and measured ✔️
Dentist ✔️ We found he had a small wolf tooth that was causing him some grief so that was removed last month to ensure he’s comfortable.

4 inch D ring/eggbut snaffle with lozenge if anyone has anything? Send me some pics as would like to get his bridle set up.
Till then he’s enjoying a nice walk around the village and what a brave boy he is 🥰

RECOMMENDATIONS for new riding boots?
My poor boots have seen much better days 🤣 need something comfy and that’s going to last. Doesn’t need to be anything too posh as I’m on and off a lot of youngsters just need to do the job.

I have a couple stables coming available for part livery on my small, friendly, quiet yard.
This space would suit someone who wants to stay away from yard drama, someone who enjoys to hack out and explore our beautiful off road bridlepaths or even an elderly horse who is looking at having a stress free retirement.
We have a variety of different ability riders/horses who are all here for the same thing, to enjoy our passion for horses.
There’s always a helping hand to ensure your horse gets the care they need.
We have all year turnout to keep our horses as happy as possible 😁

Well little man had his first long line out today and I’m so proud of him!
Such a soft little mouth and forward active steps.

Sams holiday is now over and bootcamp has officially began.
Sam has had on and off work for the last few years after racing and has been passed around quite a bit so I’m hoping now we can really build a secure partnership and trust. Since being with me he has had a nice 6 months off to gain some weight, correct his feet and have him all checked over to ensure he’s happy and comfortable to start work.
He has a home for life with me now and I’m exited to see what we can achieve together however long it takes.
Here’s to our future my boy. 🧡

Cherish every moment with them because time goes so quick!
A year ago I walked up the field to see her not long been born and it was the best birthday surprise.
She’s the purest soul and will live her life happily with me forever.
There’s something different about seeing a new life enter the world and seeing them grow and develop.
Time, patience and kindness will create a bond like no other. 💛
Thankyou for bringing so much joy into my life.
These creatures really are amazing.

Apache has just done his second week here with me, he has been lightly backed last year and had some good time off to grow and mature. Now he is here to really bring the best out in him and get some miles under his belt.
After working on some good solid ground work he came out of todays session really level headed and has soaked everything in from the last two weeks so here we are having our first sit on.

MERLIN 👀 🏡

It’s now time merlin finds his partner in crime! Merlin is a 5 year old cob and stands at 12’3. He is so loveable and is definitely the class clown of the yard with such a big heart.
Although still a little green we have taken our time to carefully produce him, he will turn his hoof to anything and try his best to please.
In his time with us he has gone to arena hires, done local dressage tests bringing home a 3rd with 69% , hacks out beautifully in all different environments, schools nicely in all paces and has been hunting.
He proves to be very brave and honest and will always bring his rider home safe.
Merlin is looking for a competent child to grow and explore with, he’s a forward going cob with a lot of character. He will suit someone wanting to do PC and have lots of fun!
He is great with his feet, to clip, load and handle.
He can come with his bridle and a few rugs.

Well what a lovely meet with the Albrighton hunt.
Merlins first ever hunt and he took it all in his stride! Jumping some decent fences and keeping up with the big lads. Absolute heart of gold this pony has and so willing to learn and please his rider, lovely to see him loving his job!
Rupert was a boss as usual 💛
No better way to finish 2022 than a glass of port and doing a job I absolutely love. 🐎

Weighing your horse is a great way to know how much weight your carrying in your horse boxes, how much wormer to give, and general weight maintenance.
Weighing will be £20 per horse.
A yard of 5 or more horses will be £15 per horse.
A fuel charge may be added if travel is over 10 miles depending on how many horses.

Here at Hudsons we have AMAZING hacking with lots of off-road tracks and fields with lots of jumps and canter tracks.

Great progress today at the yard.
🌟 Star is coming along nicely and starting to open up and become more consistent in the contact.
🌟 Charlie had a wonder around the yard becoming more and more confident with a rider on each session.
🌟 Diamond has started back into work now after having 6 months off with her foal and is taking to it really well.
Good ponies all round 😇
