The show committee would like to say a huge thankyou to the North York Moors National Park Authority for awarding us a grant to help towards the running costs of the show. This will help us to continue to put on the show as safely as possible and we are looking forward to welcoming you all again on Friday 8th August 2025!

Wow! What an amazing day! Thankyou to everyone who came to the show today! It was great to see so many people enjoying the day, even the weather behaved! We are all done for another year, but don't worry, plans for next year will soon be underway (just don't tell the committee, we'll let them have a well deserved break first)! 😀

It’s Show Day!

Today is all about saying Thankyou!

We would like to start by saying a huge Thankyou to the Barker Family for allowing us to use their fields to hold the show once again this year.

Next we would like to thank all of our Judges, Stewards and Volunteers. You each have your own area of expertise and together you make the show what it is, Outstanding!

Also, Thanks go to Eric Matthew, for taking on the role of President. We are sure that you will do a great job, definitely worthy of a rosette.

And lastly, a huge thankyou to each and everyone of you who support the show in any way big or small, from sponsoring a class, entering your garden produce or simply joining us on the day. Without you all, there would be no show!

1 Day to go! The field has been marked up and is starting to take shape. The good weather has been booked and we are all set for show day tomorrow, Friday 9th August. If you are joining us remember we have a large free car park next to the show field which is accessed from Runswick Lane. The postcode is TS13 5HR and the what3words location for the entrance to the car park is lanes.trophy.holiday
Hinderwell show is run by a fantastic team of volunteers who you will see in various roles throughout the show field. Please come and say hello tomorrow and if you would like to join the show team for next year, let us know. We are always on the lookout for more committee members and you would be helping to ensure the continuation of this wonderful local show.

2 days to go! If you are planning to join us at the show on Friday here are a few details which you may find helpful.
Admission Fees: £6.00 per adult, £3.00 per child and a family ticket (2 adults & 2 children) is £15.00. We do have a card machine but please make sure you bring cash with you too in case the technology doesn’t play ball!
Gate Times : The gates open for admission to the public at 9.00am.
Shuttle bus: Whitby DAG will be running a shuttle bus service for us picking up in Staithes and Hinderwell then dropping off at the top of the show car park near the entrance gate. Please see the pictures below , in the comments section, for the shuttle bus timetable. This will be a free service but please make a donation to Whitby DAG, a very worthwhile charity, if you can. There will be a bucket on the bus for donations. Thankyou.

Wow!! A busy morning of crafting by our local children and visitors. Lots of fun and enjoyment was had by all. See you all at the show on Friday.
