Did you know if your daycare provider isn’t licensed with their local council they are NOT insured to provide care for your dog and legally should not be advertising a daycare service.

Things to keep in mind when you are picking care for your dog ..

Have you checked where your dog is kept during the day? Is there a large heated area where your dogs can get out the elements? Have you been to look around the centre? Have you asked for copies of staff training, public liability insurance, policies & most importantly their license certificates? Does your dog have a daily schedule that includes downtime ? If there is a pick up and drop off service have you asked to see inside the vans? Does the centre have the correct procedures in place in case of an emergency? Have the fences been checked by DEFRA for safety? Do they have the correct staff ratios ? Is their license number clearly written on the website or booking system ( this is law )!

Sadly we see so many companies advertising daycare as a service with no license in place and no facilities to cater for dogs for long periods of time especially in extreme hot or cold weather.

Our license is something we are extremely proud of it means we have been animal welfare inspected and continue to have unannounced inspections throughout the year. Gaining a license means you have to meet certain criteria to keep dogs on site all day. We work hard 7 days a week to keep our daycare a unique place for your dogs to spend their days and have obtained all the correct planning permissions and licenses to allow us to run.

If you are unsure if your daycare is licensed please contact your local council who will be able to tell you immediately.

Your dogs come first, you wouldn’t send your child somewhere you haven’t checked first ❤️
