New Apprenticeship Role 🐾🌟

An exciting Apprentice opportunity has become available at Dolled Up Dogs. Start your career in the dog grooming industry, working and learning alongside our team of experienced and friendly dog groomers.

We are looking for the candidate to have the following qualities though no previous experience is necessary:

•Have a true love and passion for dogs
•Hardworking and trustworthy
•Good team player
•Good customer service skills and enjoy meeting new people
•Great timekeeping
•Forward thinking
•Able to work to a timeframe and still deliver work to a high standard
•Cleaning and maintaining the salon and shop to a high standard
•Bathing, drying, and preparing dogs for their full groom


•Position is full time, Tuesday - Saturday (8:30am - 5:00pm)
•You will attend college every other week and gain a qualification in Animal Care Level 2.
•Salary: £6.40 / hour
•Possible future employment for the right candidate if a position becomes available

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to introduce myself. I’m Jess Aspinall and I am the new owner of Dolled Up Dogs Grooming Parlour & Spa.🐾

I have been working at Dolled Up Dogs for the past 6 years and it’s been one of the best places I’ve ever worked. I absolutely love dogs and I have such a great passion for working with them, making them look and feel amazing! Jess & Lynne have made me the groomer I am today and I’m truly grateful for this opportunity they have given me and I’m ready to continue the next chapter! Hope to see all your wonderful pooches soon for their pamper with myself, Megan & Mia.

Important announcement, please read:

As we approach our 8th birthday there will be some changes over here at Dolled Up Dogs.

As a lot of you know Dolled Up Dogs has been my life since opening in 2016. I’ve had the most wonderful time with amazing people and met/groomed the most gorgeous dogs. As life events happen and circumstances change, I’ve made the decision to leave the business along with my mum to start a new chapter. Obviously this wasn’t an easy decision but I know I couldn’t continue to give my all to the business like it deserves.

On a more positive note, you will have a new owner from tomorrow (01/05) which is be the lovely Jessica Aspinall. A lot of you already know Jess and think so highly of her. Jess has been with us for 6 years now and I can assure you that Dolled Up Dogs is in fantastic hands and I can’t wait to see how amazing she does with the place. You’ll also have the wonderful Megan who’s been with us for 5 years and will continue working at the salon. A lot of you already know her and think she’s a great addition to the company. Plus our lovely Saturday girl Mia will be staying to bath all your dogs on a weekend.

In regard to your future appointments, everything stays the same and your appointment will go ahead as usual. If you do have any queries I’m sure the girls will be more than happy to answer them.

I just want to take one last opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your support, loyalty & custom over the past 8 years. I truly couldn’t have asked for anything better in business. I’ve had a fantastic time at Dolled Up Dogs and will miss you all so much.
