💪 I’m asked all the time for really tough toys, ones that will last….well I can’t promise they’ll last forever but these new toys show some promise!

Bite force toys have a track record for being really sturdy, made with Kevlar! and their 🦈 and crab 🦀 feel like they’d last…..and the texture from these Kong octopuses 🐙 and frog 🐸 alone makes me think they have a good chance of still being intact for quite a while…..

Time will tell as they say! But I live in hope! 😂

Before I sign off tonight I just wanted to share with you a further evolution of our Maggie’s brand….

We started our little family store almost 8 years ago and as a staunch raw feeder I wanted to bring you the best of what the raw suppliers of the world had to offer….I like to think I’ve done that ✔️

But not all dogs like raw….I accept that as an animal nutritionalist, so then the search started for a company to help me build my brand in the dry food market….I found that before I even opened my doors and I’ve been with them ever since. A beautiful Welsh company that produces some of the best quality dry food available. So many of you have been with me since you first found us and have stayed loyal to our food. Then of course I’ve a huge following that have been with me almost 8 years 😉

Today we launched our new designs for our bags, I hope you love them as much as we do. A huge thankyou to Nick from maureens.by.the.sea1 for her wonderful designs. The store feels so bright with the bags being so colourful 🌈

You know I don’t rest on my laurels, I’m always searching for ways to enhance your shopping experience…..because your family, and we love you 🥰

She knows when the camera is on her, she almost looks at me as if to say, which side would you like? 😂

So today we tied our Easter Bandanas around her lovely neck….. 📸 perfect pose mrs! 😂

I blinked 👁️ and before I knew it, it was sunny 😎 and everyone was talking about where they’d booked holidays! Me included!

So I thought we’d all better plan ahead! I found these lovely travel beds, perfect for car 🚙 boots (great to be left there as well!) but I also think these are perfect for days out. I can see them being used when you’re at the pub! Sat enjoying a glass or two in the sunshine…and the dogos can rest and be comfy.

This gorgeous lad is Billy and he’s roughly around 9 years old. On Wednesday he went out for a walk about and hasn’t come home since. Now the weathers been nice and he may have strayed a little further than he should but he’s got a dad at home who’s missing him desperately.

Please could you double check your gardens, garages and sheds just incase. I have his dad’s number so if you do see him please secure him if possible and message me here on our page and I’ll arrange collection.

He lives in the Belgrade Crescent area of woodsmoor.

Let see if we can’t collectively help this lad to get home. His dad is missing him terribly.

Apparently that yellow thing is going to be in the sky again today! Aren’t you all lucky? 🍀

It makes us all feel so much happier doesn’t it? Even the dogs are happier! 😂

🥞 Today is Shrove Tuesday….that means it’s pancake day! 🥞 whoop whoop

Always a winner in our house…I’ll be making dozens later!

Some for the humans but also some for Dolly, Alfie and Shadow…here’s the recipe I use. Takes minutes and always popular!

You’ll need:

1 Banana 🍌
1 egg 🥚

Toppings: peanut butter is always good (make sure it’s xylitol free of course)
🍓 Strawberries
🫐 Blueberries
🍌 more Banana

What to do:

Put both ingredients into a bowl and whisk well until it’s a smooth paste, no bits.
I have been known to pop this mixture into a squeezy botttle and make bone shapes with the mixture….great to do with the children (of course supervised!)

Heat your frying pan to medium heat and cook for 30 seconds on each side add toppings of your choice and serve. (Don’t over feed them this and adjust their evening meal portion accordingly)

❗️Please remember don’t be tempted to give them any of your pancakes, flour, milk, sugar, maple syrup all make for poorly tummy’s and that’s not fair to our little pals.

We spent so much time today filling up our new range of natural treats we forgot to take pictures….so a reel it is! 😂

Easter has arrived a little early to Maggie’s HQ, but with the sunshine and a nice bright Spring window I couldn’t resist…. 🌸🌷🌸

And the winner of Octavious the Octopus 🐙 is….. . . . . . . And I couldn’t make this up! Witnessed by everyone in my house!!! Mulhern you gorgeous Boxer boy!!! Your mummy spent a small fortune to win this for you! Congratulations Jen!

Alfie joined our family back in August….but we’ve known him and loved for a lot of years. He belonged to my dear friend Carolyn who sadly passed away last year. He’s almost 14 years old and totally blind, and he’s been blind most of his life (we think) and before you all go awwww! Stop! He’s hard as nails and being blind doesn’t worry him one second! Those that know him well will testify to the fact he’s stubborn, playful and most of all loving life. He loves Dolly and Shadow and cuddling up at sleep time. Life’s pretty good in this retirement home! 😂 When his mum passed away I whispered in his ear that he wouldn’t want for anything and he’d be loved beyond words, i told him he could have whatever he wanted! And he wanted toys! Lots of toys….all the toys! 😂 So when these new Kong toys arrived on Monday I knew he’d love them, infact all three of them have loved them. Just the right size for little mouths! I thought you might like to see how cheeky he is and how much he loves toys. ❤️🐾❤️
