Morning lovelies…..are you ready for this heatwave coming next week?

I’ve stocked up on cool mats and cool toys in readiness!

This week in the shop has been about restock deliveries….

🐾 Freezers are full ready for my Saturday feeders

🐾 3 natural treat deliveries means the treat bar is full

🐾 Restock of the Lickimat and Sodapup ranges

🍦 The Giddy Goat range of icecreams have been a hit. That’s a reorder for next week I suspect!

As always the shop is full to the brim with everything you didn’t realise you needed! 😂

Hope you’ve all had a lovely Easter Sunday, eaten lots of chocolate and had lots of fun!
While the shop was closed we packed up the Maggie’s van for a nice day out…..and because it’s also Alfie’s 14th Birthday 🎂

We took Maggie’s on tour, all the way to Saltburn-By-The-Sea visiting our dear friend Nick and her sidekick Maureen who have both opened up the most adorable dog shop in the town. (If you’re over that way on holiday it’s a must!)

maureens.by.the.sea1 has everything Alfie loves, toys, treats and lots of cuddles! Seeing his Auntie Nick and his friend Maureen was the icing on his Birthday cake! 🎂

Shadow came along and even played shop dog in someone else’s shop! (The boy cannot help himself!)

After a fabulous play on the beach we headed home…..not a peep was heard! 😂

Remember it’s Bank Holiday Monday tomorrow and Maggies is Closed, but fear not! We’re back Tuesday, all refreshed and ready with pockets full of treats for visiting doggies ❤️🐕❤️

We love you all, you know that….but we’ve decided to have a little ‘mini’ break over Easter

So we’ll be shut Easter Sunday and Monday, reopening the following day with our normal hours of 9-5pm

Good Friday is our normal bank holiday hours of 11-3pm….because everyone deserves a lie in! 😂

Happy Sunny 😎 Saturday Lovelies!

Enjoy enjoy enjoy…..apparently it’s not here for long! 😂

Jo and I are in today as it’s Lacys 18th birthday weekend, so she’s off parting while we work hard!

Easter is almost up on us so I’ve popped the last of the eggs and a few extra toys onto the Easter table, I also thought you might like some hot weather stuff so I’ve put some cool mats and cool toys out. Only a few as deliveries for summer will start in earnest soon.

So what’s new? Here we go…..

🐾 Restock of the drinking bottles and travel bowls

🐕 The new range of collars, leads and bandanas from our friends Barkley and Fetch

🍱 Carnilove brought the biggest pallet of treats! Huge! 😂 and we’ve extended the meat jerky range as you all seamed to love the flavours they do.

So enjoy this lovely weather.

Alfie most definitely approves of this lovely weather, and it looks like tomorrow is going to be the last warm and sunny day till May!

So I hope you’ve all planned a nice walk tomorrow, we’ve some lovely local walks that would suit all the family, and get you all in the holiday mood, Easter’s right round the corner.

Here’s just a few that we love ❤️

🐾 Torkington Park - great for all the family with the added benefit of somewhere to stop for a drink or some food….Buxton Road Cafe & coffee bar.

🐾 Bramhall Park - another great place for all the family. Lots to see and do plus ice creams and coffees galore at their popular Stables Kitchen.

🐾 Etherow Country Park - we love this walk but I’m lucky my three aren’t bothered by they ducks, so maybe not for everyone - again their cafe is a great place to stop before you go home.

🐾 Reddish Vale - for those of you wanting a longer walk this would be ideal. We’re very lucky to have such a wonderful green space on our doorstep.

💡 Feel free to suggest others, some of you are first time dogs mums and dads so I’m sure any help will be welcome.

Barkley and Fetch’s range is amazing and we carry a small selection but wow! 🤩 we love these new ones!

We’ve carried this brand since we opened and we love Jayne and the quality of her collars, leads, bandanas and matching poo bag holders. Always a. Winner here.

Do you know she has a shop in Marple? Always worth a look at the whole range (which is enormous) if your ever passing.

…..now, which one did Shadow and Alfie choose?? 😂

We are so lucky to have such wonderful flower shops around us, I’m always buying plants from Jen at Cheshire Flowers. This morning I recieved these for Mother’s Day 💕

I know how hard they’ve worked these last few days so I’m very grateful for their amazing skills making beautiful bouquets. Thanks Ladies xx
