🌟 Practice Manager Appreciation Week🌟
Join us in showing love and appreciation to our practice manager, Jane!

Jane has been at Vets4pets Stockton for 10 years!
She originally started in our reception team working her way up to Practice Manager.
She is always on hand where ever she is needed, helping the team out in the background in all areas of the practice.

Jane cares a lot about our clients and has made long lasting bonds with many of them and their amazing animals, she never misses an opportunity for a catch up and a pet fuss where possible! 🐾💓

Firework season - Preparation is key!🗝
If you are concerned about your pets during firework season, there are some things you could do in advance to prepare for this, in an attempt to make them feel safe and as comfortable as possible
• Calming Pheromone products can create a safe feeling for your pets, and help to provide them with some reassurance in stressful situations. Owners can start to use these products at least one month before bonfire night
• Make them identifiable - Pets will hide or run from scary sounds, so making sure your pet is identifiable if they get lost is critical. A microchip is the best way, but an engraved tag on a safe release collar is a great back up.
• Blocking off any dangerous areas your pet may squeeze into if they are scared and allowing them full access to safe areas of the home so they do not feel trapped.
•Create a safe space for them – Allowing them to have their own area or den to hide in when feeling scared will prepare them for any loud events. Allow them to familiarize themselves with the den and get them used to going inside it. Top tip - put their favourite teddies and treats inside!🐶🐱🧸🦴

This gorgeous girl is Marie the Staffordshire bull terrier!🩷
We have seen Marie come on leaps and bounds since her first visit at 7 weeks old in July, when she weighed only 1.3kg
We are so glad to see she is now doing really well and has improved dramatically, she was in with us recently for her 2nd vaccination and is now weighing 4.7kg🐾

We would like to thank our very kind client Mr Cuthbert for fuelling the reception team with a lovely coffee this afternoon!
A greatly appreciated gesture😊
Mr Cuthbert came in for an appointment with his feline friend Spooky and thankfully Spooky was sent home after a very positive health check!🐱🐾

❗️ Card machine issues ❗️
We would just like to make all our clients aware that there is currently a global issue with Card payments. We are unsure when this is going to be resolved so we are asking all clients to pay with cash were they can, alternatively, we can send a payment link via Whatsapp
Thanks!

Great guesses from last weeks 🐶❓ Guess the breed❓🐶 post
The answer is Smooth coated Collie!
Well done if you guessed correctly!☑️
The Smooth Collie is a breed of dog developed originally for herding. It is a short-coated version of the Rough Collie (The same breed as Lassie) 🐾
