Why do we apply clay to our horses’ limbs? 🐎
Clay is known mainly for its astringent, absorbent, healing and covering properties.
It helps to tighten tissues, so it can be applied to our horses’ limbs to promote the recovery of tendons and joints after exercise.
@alexandragarven applies with a glove and as you can see our horses love the treatment and fuss!
It creates a cooling effect and is very relaxing!

Ice clay has a cooling effect on a horses sensitive legs. We use an ice clay paste as a preventive measure after daily exercise, it promotes recovery of our horses legs and is effective against swelling.
Through the evaporation of the water contained in the clay, the healing clay cools down our horses legs in a very natural way 🍃
As the clay dries, it draws fluid from any tissue, creating a cooling effect. We let the clay paste dry, brush off and wash off any remaining clay.
