Its rabbit awareness week so here are 4 facts you might not know about rabbits:

🐰Their teeth are always growing - Rabbits’ teeth are open rooted and grow continuously. Feeding the right high-fibre diet is crucial to keep teeth worn down and prevent overgrowth and the health complications this causes!

🐰They have a very delicate skeleton - Rabbits have lots of muscle but a very delicate skeleton which can be easily damaged. This means that handling them correctly is essential to avoid serious injury.

🐰They can't vomit or burp - The only way for food or gas to make its way through their digestive tract is via the intestines and out of their bottom.

🐰They produce two types of poo... And they eat one of them! - Rabbits produce firm poo and softer night poos known as ‘caecotrophs’ which are usually eaten in the early morning. The caecotrophs aren’t normally seen in hutches or litter trays, as they are usually eaten as they are passed.

Have become aware of someone who had a young doe from myself earlier in the year for a pet home has now bred her and passing her babies off as Angoras. Absolutely disgusting to be making money from unsuspecting new owners who potentially wont question them. So if anyone sees Angoras for sale on pets4homes and may be interested please have a look for yourself what Angoras look like as the doe is absolutely not Angora!

Those interested in Peaches litter of 5 can you message me. I will want to see a set up or what you plan to have and I will require the pictures of the final set up a week before the bun is ready to leave. If you dont have that the deposit will be refunded. I like lengthy messages. If you have or have had rabbits before, if you want for a pet or breeding home and that you understand a rabbits needs. The RWAF website has masses of information on welfare, housing and everything else you need to know.

So we have 4 chocolate VM and 1 lilac vm in Peaches litter. One of the chocolates looks to be very nicely marked so may just have to stay🤞
I'll post a picture once they get to a week old :)

These two beauts have had a litter today one day early. I was expecting 2 or 3 but she surprised me with 6. Sadly we lost one but the others are doing well.
All look to be chocolate at this point with at least one looking like mum 😍❤🐰
