☀️HOT WEATHER POLICY IS IN FORCE☀️

Hi everyone, as you know its our absolute priority to keep your furbabies safe at all times and so to keep your furbabies safe in this week's temperatures our hot weather policy is in place.

Home visits, earlier/later shaded walks where possible if the temperature in the shade is suitable. Slow pace steady very short toilet walks but only if absolutely essential and unfortunately cancelled walk for doggies who's humans are home (unless a home visit is still requested) - multiple shorter visits may be put in place also if we feel this would be more beneficial to keep dogs cool and calm throughout the day.

We will ensure all water bowls are topped up after each visit and if you have any cool or frozen treats let us know and we will ensure these are given on our visits.

As always if anyone has any questions at all please do not hesitate to contact us at any time.

They are currently looking for teddies for their fundraising stall... if you are having a clear out and have any in good condition they would be much appreciated by the charity.

They are also after fleece blankets and Towels too.

If you are unable to drop off at the kennels, please let us know and we will be happy to collect when we call in for your walks and will do a collective drop off from us and our customers 💙

Are you in or around Stoke on Trent and have teddies in new or good used condition you can donate for our prize every time children's tombola?
So far I've washed and dried over 2000 this show season but we are back down to less than 100. The teddies raise us a huge amount of money to help us keep helping the dogs.

Please if you are having a sort out or have children who may want to sort a few to help our dogs we'd be grateful.

They can be dropped 7 days a week between 10am and 3pm to the kennels

We have to say a great big THANK YOU to Chelsea this week who's been in helping us out in between midwifing placements, after a pet sit Sammi is on got unexpectedly extended and in between appointments we have both had that have all fallen this week! Together with vet visits for some doggies we look after!

As always she has been an absolute asset and the dogs have LOVED spending extra time with her!!

We've been busy with pet sits so far for 2024 have lots booked in for the rest of the year. We have very very limited availability left for 2024 and the 2025 diary will be opening soon!

Here are just a few of the pet sits we've enjoyed over the last few months...

🥰We've spent lots of time this year with Willow & The Chihuahuas. These furbabies are an absolute joy to spend time with and to care for... we have a couple of oldies & a few chis who need medical support.

With all pet sits we ensure all needs are cared for and all animals are always treated like they are our own... we have a lot of experience in caring for a range of medical conditions, injury recoveries and post-op care over the years.

🦆 weve enjoyed ducky feeding visits (with bonus egg collection 🥚)

💙 We spent a week with our beautiful Charlie whilst his family enjoyed a trip away.

💟 A night with our buddies cheeky Mr Angus, sweet Miss Darcy & adorable Miss Billie

🐶🐶 We spent a lovely evening and over night stay with newbies Harry & Oscar the King Charles Spaniels... they were absolute angels, enjoyed all the cuddles & fusses and of course we absolutely fell in love with them both

🐈‍⬛️ We were also back for visits with Queen Tink the kitty cat who bossed us around each visit, enjoyed some enrichment with treat hunts on her Tower and of course fussus on demand!

🩵We've also spent time with Luna Cat, Isla Spaniel, Holly Walter & Denver, Thea & Elmo, Emily, Mumper, Freddie & Mabel and Bobby and had the absolute best time on each sleepover 🩵

We had the absolute best time on last weekends adventure walk in Apedale!

It was a toasty one so we went out earlier than planned to help the puppas stay cool and spent lots of time in the cool woodland and the streams and ponds. We went nice and steady whilst the puppas pottered around exploring and enjoyed lots of drinking breaks. Its safe to say they were shattered when they got home from all the fun!

We were joined by the best guide (Sammis Dad 💙) to find the best cool spots and best ponds for them to swim and paddle in and the puppas loved following him around to seek out adventure!

🌳 This weekends Adventure walk is fully booked but we will update the remaining spaces on our remaining walks tomorrow morning 🌳
