I’ve been working with this little guy for a while now. When he first came to me he couldn’t stand being touched or brushed. With fantastic work from his owner he’s finally started looking like a proper poodle

I often get asked about the difference between hand stripping and clipping fox terriers. The handsome boy on the left has all of his colour patches stripped, as new hair grows it maintains the colour. Beautiful girl on the right is clipped, her head is almost white instead of brown.
In terms of cost, stripping is at least double the price of clipping and does not include a bath. Love them both ways.

This sweet little man has been such a work in progress. He’s only been groomed a handful of times, at first I could barely get near him but slowly he’s beginning to trust the process. Starting to look a more like a properly trimmed poodle

I know we are all feeling the pinch at the moment but the last 2 days I have had 2 people not turn up for appointments. I can often fill the appointment if I’m given warning but if you have forgotten then I don’t feel it’s right that I should lose 2 hours wages. Would you accept this from your boss?
I Don’t need you for the next 2 hours so I’m not paying you?
I’m trying to hold my prices with large increased running costs but these missed appointments are not helping, so I am having to implement the following

Cancellation policy.

Cancelled over 48hrs NO CHARGE

Cancelled between 24-48hrs £20.00

Cancelled less than 24hrs, or failure to turn up for an appointment, FULL COST OF GROOM.

This fee will need to be paid before I can rebook your appointment.

Due to the extreme heat on Monday and Tuesday all appointments have been cancelled and rescheduled. The welfare of the dogs is paramount and unlike other local groomers I do not have any cooling systems. Please keep you little ones safe. They will not die from missing a walk but heat exhaustion can be fatal. We have not experienced these temperatures before and the MET office are warning of risk to life of people. So please do not risk your dogs health by taking them out in extreme heat. Stay cool and stay safe.

Hi everyone, just a gentle reminder that with these very high temperatures, dogs can suffer from heat stroke and this condition can be extremely dangerous or even fatal. Short nosed breeds and very elderly dogs are at most risk. Make sure your dogs have shade and access to fresh water at all times. Never leave them in parked cars as the temperatures can climb to dangerous levels within minutes.

If you have a grooming appointment booked DO NOT turn up with your dog heavily panting as I cannot take them in, keep them cool before you arrive. I will continue to groom as long as your little ones are comfortable and safe.

This little fella was looking for a new home recently, he found a lovely home with a new playmate. Both lads are having a great time, this little man came to have his first haircut with me. He will now be coming on a regular schedule so I can hopefully start shaping his face a little bit longer. He has issues around his face being trimmed, I think because he has had many eye drops over his short life. We shall persevere and hopefully he will learn to trust me. Thanks to everyone that took an interest in finding him a new home. Welcome Bobby

This cute little man is 6 years old and had never been to a groomer before. This was his 3rd appointment with me, I can now at least get him looking like he’s been to a groomers. When he first came I could hardly touch him, he was so nervous. Calm handling can get great results.

I am Bobby, an 8 month- old male sh*tzu. I need a new family because my mummy is ill and is struggling to look after me and give me the training and exercise I need. I am very friendly but lively so need a kind but firm mummy or daddy. I have a beautiful minky grey colour coat. I am all up to date with inoculations etc and have up to date vet records.
My Mummy would like offers over £500 to pay off her vet bills. I'm definitely worth it cos I'm gorgeous!
