I hope everyone had a wonderful festive period! ✨

I will be working through all messages and appointments this weekend. I’m so sorry for the delay with my responses. I’ve been so poorly over Christmas and haven’t even touched my diary since I finished.

As some of you may already know, we get married in July so will therefore have Hen dos, Stag do’s and a Honeymoon to work your appointments around. We’re also attending a friends wedding abroad early July. If you can, please book in advance or block book your grooms.

May this year bring new adventures and endless opportunities 🫶🏻

When considering walking your dog in cold weather, there’s a pretty simple rule to live by – if it’s too cold for you, it’s too cold for your dog.

But like humans, every dog is different. Where some dogs seem to be made for snow and wet weather, others can struggle in even the slightest of chills. The vet experts at Joii have given some guidelines to help you decide if you should brave the elements or stay in the warmth.

Just looking at the temperature on the thermometer (or if you’re like us, on your phone’s weather app) isn’t enough, you also need to take into account wind chill, wet conditions (rain or damp ground) and how sunny the day is. If in doubt, keep your walk short or skip it all together if your dog can toilet in the garden instead.

My own girls had their pamper last night!

Bath, blow dry, slight de shed with my favourite zoom groom brush, a little toe bean massage using a nose and paw balm and finished off with a spritz of peanut and pickle ‘strawberry and vanilla’ cologne… and who said short haired breeds didn’t need grooming 🤷🏻‍♀️👌🏼🍓
