The next time you have to go to a veterinary emergency room and are mad that it is taking so long remember this picture. The next time you are angry with the vet assistants, the technicians, or the front desk for how long it’s taking for your dog to be seen for an upset tummy or to look at a torn declaw- behind the scenes we are desperately trying to stabilize someone else’s best friend. The next time you are yelling at the hospital staff for not bringing your pet out in ten minutes- because you “paid your bill so bring my pet out to me” - you really have no idea what is happening behind those doors. Please remember there is so much more happening that you don’t see. Next time you are angry and think I just need some medicine for your furry friend remember an animal Emergency room - we work just like a human emergency room; critical Patients come first. Every time you yell at us for the time it’s taking- behind the scenes we just preformed CPR for 15 - 30 minutes and then comforted and owner that just lost their pet. We are in the industry to be an advocate to those you don’t have a voice. The next time you go to an animal emergency room - we are doing the best we can- be kind, be compassionate, we are there to help.

Update: As we have turned off the comment section please share to rescue groups and ask them to contact us directly - Thank You

Unfortunately the breeder information given to the owner for Molly is apparently up for debate and therefore we cannot confidently state what breed she is. I hope that satisfies the people who are questioning her description and that now everyone can go back to helping find her a rescue space.

This is Molly and she is an XL American bully. 3 years old. Lives with 3 children and up until 2 weeks ago 2 other dogs.

Molly will be without a home from Wednesday as no dogs are allowed where current owners are moving on to.

Having approached numerous rescues without success Molly is now out of options unless one can be found urgently.

There will be financial help given to a rescue to ensure her safe rehoming.

It is expected that a move will unsettle Molly but the owner is confident that she will settle soon after.

Please contact us urgently via messenger if you are a rescue who can help.

Come on Team Tuk we know you can help Molly xx.

Little Luna loves nothing more than sofa snuggles or playing with her cuddly toys. 🥺

The six-month-old puppy is a gentle, affectionate soul and although she has a wonderful temperament, she potentially has a matter of weeks, if not days, to live unless we find her a loving home. 💔

This is because her looks resemble an American bully XL – soon to be added to a list of banned dogs. While the implications of this law are still uncertain, we do know that owners of dogs deemed to be of this type will need to apply for their pet to go on a register of exemption.

But the situation is far bleaker for homeless XL bully dogs. It will soon become illegal to rehome them, even if assessments find they are good natured and no danger. Devastatingly, the only option will be euthanasia.

However, there is still a glimmer of hope if Luna can be adopted before the law changes. 🤞 But it’s a race against time to find her a home.

Please help us find one by sharing this post far and wide. Thank you.

UPDATE FOR OUR LONG-TERM MISSING BOY - Chi

A change is in the air …

Thank you to those who've recently joined China's page and to those who have followed the journey for so long, continually sharing his story - this keeps him in the hearts and minds of those local to Martlesham and just beyond. These acts of kindness, faith and hope really do help the team to keep going – thank you.

We are hopeful for the next flurry of sightings that seem to occur with China. He hasn't been seen for approx one month – however, there are important changes coming up:

Change in CLOCKS – China will be used to people's activity (traffic, daily routines) being the same, in fact he relies on this to know when it's safe to move around, so this will be a sudden shift for him and may cause some change in HIS behaviour – please look out for him.

Change in WEATHER/SEASON – less ground cover, less food for him to hunt and harsher conditions may bring him even closer to houses and gardens.

Change in his HEALTH – he is getting older, how long can he continue to hunt for his dinner? China's breed (podenco) do tend to have long life spans and they are known for being resilient and robust dogs – sadly a change in his health and his ability to hunt may be our opportunity to get him safe. So we need to know this as soon as possible in order to help him. He would be seen scavenging more and more near to commercial or domestic bins or around fox feeding places.

- As always, please do send any video doorbell footage – even if its just a tail!
- If you feed the foxes, please do take a peek and/or please put the food out in range of any cameras you have.
- He'll know when bin day is so, if possible, please have your bins in view of your home cctv / doorbells. Please take an extra look around when you put the bins out.
- When out and about please scan hedge and tree lines.
- And, of course, please let us know ANY suspected sightings as soon as you can.

ALL information is appreciated – the expert team will be able to deconstruct your info and make the right choices about how to support China and – with all the hope and faith possible – finally get him safe, but we are aware that we may need to wait until he slows down and finds it harder to hunt.

🔸 For more images and videos of China please click on his Page.

Dear China – much as we don't want your bones to ache, please do visit some bins and fox feeders and give us our chance to get you back to safety. You're always in heart and mind and always missed sweetheart xx 💜

***Xl Bully owners***

🐕 We are now offering FREE muzzle training and handling to all XL Bully and XL Bully crossbreed owners.
🐶 If the ban goes ahead it is highly likely XL Bullies will have to wear a muzzle in public. As force free trainers we believe it is important to condition your dog to any new piece of equipment.
✋️ Helping your dog be comfortable with being handled is also important so this will be covered in these sessions too.
⏰️ These will be upto 1 hour at Castle Hill Community Centre starting 26th September until 31st October.
1️⃣ Only 1 session to be booked per person.
🏠 If your dog is reactive you can attend as a spectator and practice at home.
💻 If you would like to attend please book your space on the following link.

🔊 More dates and locations will be announced if there is a demand.

“ITS OK HE’S FRIENDLY”

When an owner shouts “it’s ok he’s friendly” as their dog is advancing at break neck speed towards your, under control on lead dog, what he’s actually saying is “my dog is totally out of my control and has absolutely no recall because I’m too lazy to train him”.

The “it’s ok he’s friendly” dog owner believes it’s his right to have his friendly dog off lead harassing others no matter where he is and we can safely assume therefore he has no manners himself either!

The “it’s ok he’s friendly” dog owner has no idea about dogs and is too lazy to learn. He doesn’t therefore understand that your dog may be recovering from an operation, may be nervous or anxious, or that you may actually be training your dog! He doesn’t really even care!

The “it’s ok he’s friendly” dog owner is generally looking for your dog or another person’s dog to entertain or wear his dog out so that he doesn’t have to do it himself!

The “it’s ok he’s friendly” dog owner often thinks that you, the owner who is being responsible and keeping their dog on a lead and under control, is actually the problem and that you shouldn’t be walking where his “friendly dog” with no training or recall has the right to run free!

The reality is that the “it’s ok he’s friendly” dog owner is a selfish and ignorant dog owner!

Don’t be an “it’s ok he’s friendly” dog owner.

Take responsibility & Train your dog and be aware of etiquette and other’s needs and rights too.
