Please help us save our woodland and green space! I walk in this beautiful woodland everyday and feel so lucky it’s here , the thought of it being destroyed is terrible

Planning for houses to built behind Waitrose
In summary:
looking to build 200+ houses on field behind Waitrose
New roundabout on Shipston Road, by the entrance to Orchard Hill Farm which is just up from the Waitrose roundabout
Part of Bridgetown Woodlands and Meadows nature reserve to be dug up to lay a drainage pipe into Rush Brook. Part of nature reserve will be closed for indefinite period until drainage works complete

ALL objections to be received by 23rd September

You have to give reasons for your objection to the project, these may include the following:
Increased flooding of Rush Brook
Damage to nature reserve, they could put extra drainage up to Shipston Road rather than into Rush Brook
Increased general flooding (tarmacing over field reduces water absorption of field)
No longer able to walk along the dismantled railway track
Traffic congestion
School places
Doctors, hospitals
Loss of farm land
Existing housing plans are adequate to meet Stratford's needs
