Last weekend our 6 month mentorship came to an end. I can honestly say this mentorship programme has exceed all my expectations.
I joined the mentorship to help me pursue my long term goal of becoming a dog trainer but it has been so much more than that!
I’ve obtained in-depth knowledge of training methods and had the opportunity to shadow Ches on her 1:1 training lessons to gain valuable experience that I have put into practise on my daily structured group walks and my own 1:1 training sessions.
Monty has become the best dog he has ever been, our relationship is stronger, his obedience has hugely improved and he has shown me that he loves and thrives on learning new things.
I’m going to truly miss hanging out with these like-minded crazy dog people but I know the friendships I have made will help navigate this dog training industry!

What a year 2023 has been!
In February we relocated to Surrey, in May phase one of my house renovation project was completed, in July I enrolled on 6 month dog training mentorship programme, in September the business grew from 2 daily structured walks to 3 and now offers training walks!
I wonder why I’m feeling tired, this Christmas I will be resting, ready for exciting plans in 2024!
Thank you to all my lovely clients and their dogs, family and friends that continue to support me and allow me to do the job I absolutely love!

Happy Barkers is 6 today! 🥳🎂🎈🎉
I still think I have the best job in the world! I love the days when our pack walks run seamlessly but also thrive on the days that challenge me!
The past year has had some big changes personally for me; I have moved house, leaving SW London and relocated to Surrey. The business was in a strong enough position to allow me to make these huge life changes and continue to run it with minimum disruption. I now live the best of both worlds; countryside living but still able to walk my SW London dogs! 😊
I would not have been able to achieve this dream without the support of my family and friends and of course my lovely clients & dogs, who have made Happy Barkers what it is today! 🐶 I’m excited for the year ahead; I’ve started my 6 month dog training mentorship with with my end goal of being able to offer dog training as well as my daily structured pack walks.
Last but not least; my Monty, the very best pooch, my best friend, my whole. I wouldn’t be able to do any of this without you, always be my side! Love you Pooch 😘

Today was day one of my 6 month Phoenix K9 Training Mentorship Programme 23/24, I’m beyond excited to start this journey!
I’ve learnt so much from all the dogs (present & past) that are on my structured group walks and solo walks the past 6 years.
Now I’m ready to expand my knowledge and experience and learn from my mentor and fellow mentees (who all seem as dog crazy as I am! )🤪 To coming closer to achieving my end goal of becoming a dog trainer! 😊
