**STRAY ** found Haresfield Beacon approx 2.30pm. No tag and chip not registered. Now safe at kennels. Please note dog may not be able to be claimed until Monday. Please call Council on 01453 766321. Proof of ownership will be required.

**STRAY** found Standish Woods in the last hour. No collar or tag. Chipped, but the chip isn't registered. Taking dog to Kennels now please call if you recognise the dog. 01453 766321. Owner will need to provide proof of ownership and there may be a fee to reclaim dog.

🎄Stroud District Council offices will be closing at 1pm today for the Christmas period. We reopen at 8:45am on Thursday 2nd Jan 2025.

PD Ollie 🐶 is a specialist trained search dog who is trained to search for drugs,firearms and cash .

In PD Ollie's downtime he likes to do footpatrol and today he was in Stroud along the canal paths .

These patrols are to promote responsible dog ownership. The paths and parks are for everyone to enjoy .🐶

UPDATED - Dog not chipped, now at kennels.

Whippet type dog found at the top of town near Sladewood Primary School. Please contact us asap if you are missing your dog in this area. Officer collecting shortly and will scan for a chip.

SBT cross missing from Brimscombe area. Escaped from garden last night (05/12/24), chipped and details up to date. Recently had op on left hind leg. His Dad is very worried, so if you have any news at all please call Chris 07833 105755

💨STORM DARRAGH💨

This weekend is forecast to be a bit of a wild one (and we don’t mean the office Christmas Party!)

❗️Storm Darragh is set to bring some strong winds. Please check your fences before letting your dogs out into the garden
❗️Make sure your dog has their collar and I/d tag on even in the garden in case of escape
❗️Make sure any small animal hutches are secured and covered to protect the occupants. Consider moving them to a more sheltered area or into a shed/garage
❗️Secure cat flaps to keep your pets in over night (tonight and tomorrow night look particularly gusty)
