After nearly 13 years of grooming, it’s time for me to share a very personal update 💚
As you know, over the past year I’ve been away from the salon on maternity leave. During that time, the amazing Laura has done a truly fantastic job of keeping things running when I know it hasn’t been easy & I’m endlessly grateful for her passion and care
The past year has also brought changes for me on the home front. As many of you know, the family farm has always been a huge part of my life & the reason I started grooming in the first place - to create something that would allow me to stay in touch with the farm 🐑
Now, as I take on more responsibilities on our farm alongside other commitments, I’ve made the incredibly difficult decision not to return to physical grooming at this time. This hasn’t been an easy choice but one that will allow the business to thrive again - the relationships I’ve built with so many of you & your dogs have meant the world to me - you’ve stood by me as life evolved, from expanding the business, getting married & having my babies. For that, I am deeply grateful
Please know, I’m not stepping away from ACCanines entirely. We are improving the structure where I manage the background while Laura takes an exciting next step - going self-employed within the business! It’s a fantastic move in her grooming career & one I know she will thrive in all while things continue smoothly for you guys 👏🏻
As for me, I’m going deeper into the agricultural world (because having a young family, the farm & running a business isn’t enough). I’ve been given the opportunity to run social media & marketing for some fantastic companies, small businesses & even charities within the farming industry - allowing me to help others while working it around my family
