***A polite reminder ***

Annual Membership fees are now due again, as it is the start of the New Year. The prices for the membership have remained the same. Single Membership is £10.00, Family Membership (all people living at the same address) is £15.00 & Membership without a dog is £5.00.

Don’t forget we have made a slight increase to the class fees which are now £4.50 per class or £36.00 for 8 classes. You can either bank transfer in advance or pay cash on the evening at the treasurers desk to either Caroline or Clare. If you have pre-paid for your classes before the Christmas break, you will not pay anymore until you pay for more classes.

On behalf of all the Committee & Volunteers, we wish you a very Merry Christmas. Have fun with your family and friends and that includes your four legged friend🎅🎄Don’t forget, if you wish to, some of us are walking our dogs from Pakefield to the Claremont Pier tomorrow to watch the Christmas Day swimmers. We leave from the public car park by CEFAS at about 9am. 🐾🐾❤️

With less than a week to go, it’s easy to get swept up in the holiday excitement! 🎄
But remember to keep your dog safe by watching out for these common Christmas hazards:

❌ Antifreeze & road salt – harmful if ingested.
❌ Poinsettias, holly & mistletoe – can be toxic if eaten.
❌ Potpourri – Can cause vomiting, diarrhoea, or choking.
❌ Christmas lights & small Decorations – choking and blockage hazards.
❌ Cooked bones – Can splinter easily and cause internal injuries.
❌ Chocolate & nuts – Toxic and can lead to serious health issues.
❌ Christmas pudding, mince pies & stollen – contain dried fruits like raisins, currants, and other toxic ingredients.

👉Share this with fellow dog owners to help protect their pups this holiday season!

That’s a wrap! We hope you all had a fantastic Christmas Party. 🎄🎅🧑‍🎄 Congratulations those of you that won awards 🏅and thank you if you donated a raffle prize. I’m sure some photos & video will get posted soon but feel free to post your photos below. 👇

Like I said, a few of us will be meeting at the car park by CEFAS on Christmas morning about 9am to then walk the dogs on the beach down to watch the swimmers at the Claremont Pier. Feel free to join us.

Today is the day, club members, our Christmas Party is tonight!🎄🎅🏻 Make sure you have completed the final touches to your optional fancy dress costumes (for you and your dog if you want!) 🐾🐾

The fun starts at 6pm for those in puppy, pre-bronze and bronze class but then, please, make sure you don’t rush off! We ask that those in silver, gold & top class please arrive for 6:45pm promptly so that we then have EVERYONE from all the classes together.

At that time we will be judging the fancy dress, drawing the raffle & giving out those special awards. While this is happening you can enjoy a mince pie and/or sausage roll and drinks will be FREE. You can still buy raffle tickets on the night and if you wish to donate a prize to the raffle, don’t forget to bring it with you🎄🎁

Following this, puppies, pre-bronze & bronze members can then depart and then the fun will start for silver/gold & top class.

It’s going to be a great night with lots of festive fun, cheer and music to kick off the most wonderful time of the year! 🎄

Just 2 days to go now, club members, until our Christmas Party and the final big award we will be giving out on Monday. 🎄🎉

This is the ‘John Baxter’ Trophy and one of the oldest awards at club. It’s named after a great man who was a Trainer at the Club and a member of the agility display team.

This trophy is given out to the dog and handler whom the trainers feel have made the most progress. Always a difficult one as you have all been doing so brilliantly.

Tomorrow, we will remind you about all the fun things to expect at the party and a reminder of the times to make sure you are there and don’t miss a thing! ❤️🐾🐾

Counting down and now only 3 days until our Christmas Party and here is another award we will be giving out on Monday. 🎄

The ‘Maxine Dalziel’ award is another silver salver (beautifully engraved again by H.R.G. Services) in memory to another wonderful lady and friend who sadly passed away a few years ago. Maxine was a member of the club with her dog Barney and a regular in the display team.

This award, as chosen by the trainers, is given to the ‘Dog That Had The Most Fun’ in training. Will it be you that gets to look after this fantastic award until next time? Come along on Monday and see!

Hi Club Members. With 4 days to go until our Dog Club Christmas Party 🎄🎉, normally the talk is of 5 gold rings. Well we have 5 shiny medals instead to give out to some Members on Monday!

These medals are what we call ‘Bow Wow’ Awards and the recipients are selected by each of our Trainers. They are given to the 5 members our Trainers feel have ‘wowed’ them over the last year.

Only the trainers know who will be receiving these so don’t miss out as it could be you! Make sure you are there on Monday. These will be given out between about 6:45pm & 7pm so Puppies & Bronze, make sure you stay after your class & Silver/Gold/Top Class, make sure you arrive on time!

What a fantastic night at the Christmas Fun Agility tonight.🎄 It was so good to watch dogs having so much fun. ❤️🐾🐾

We want to say a massive Congratulations to Carole with Nina who won the ‘Pat Brock’ Award for the dog that had the most fun in our Fun Agility sessions throughout the year 🙌👏🎉

Club Members. Over the next few days, we will be sharing with you, here on Facebook, the special awards we will be giving out at the Fun Agility Christmas Party (Wednesday 4th December) and at the Dog Club Christmas Party (Monday 9th Dec)

We start with the ‘Pat Brock Award’ which will be given out at the Fun Agility Christmas Party, Pat was a wonderful lady & friend who was a club member & member of our dog agility display team. Pat sadly passed away a few years ago and this beautiful silver salver, is given in her memory, to the dog who has been judged to have ‘had the most fun’ in our Fun Agility sessions. The dog’s name is engraved on the reverse side for all eternity. The recipient will keep it until we request it back, next year, to be given out in 2025.

Who will receive it this year? Well you will have to come on Wednesday night to see! 7:00pm for 7:15pm at Broads Equestrian Centre. This event is restricted to only Club Members but is a FREE event.
