Hello everyone! And a very warm welcome to our Pawz for Thought Official Selling Page. This page has been set up to provide a One-Stop-Shop, to display items available for immediate sale, and to prepare them ready for collection from the rescue at North Hylton, or to post out, if preferred. Items sold on this page will not only offer our buyers savings and enjoyment, but they will also benefit the environment by re-using and re-gifting worthy products that may otherwise become overlooked.
All items on this page have been gratefully received as donations from our wonderful supporters. Items may be new, nearly new, used, hand-made etc… But all are in a saleable condition, ready to be loved and appreciated again. Details are given on the individual posts, but please feel free to ask any questions.
Items may be collected by arrangement from the Registered Charity address, i.e., the Rescue itself. This is Howbridge House, Ferryboat Lane, North Hylton, Sunderland SR5 3HW. Unfortunately, we are unable to use the shop as a collection point, due to logistics. However, if postage is preferred, then please refer to an up-to-date Royal Mail list of fees to choose your preferred method (taking into consideration size, weight, and value).
A little about us. Pawz for Thought is an Animal Rescue, Rehabilitation and Rehoming Charity, covering the North East of England - and often beyond. The Registered Charity No. 1103331 last year alone received 4168 various wild animals, requiring varying degrees of urgent care and medical treatment. The Rescue relies heavily on a large team of experienced and dedicated volunteers to often provide diagnoses, long-term care, and treatment plans. In addition to this, multiagency professional bodies work hand in hand with Pawz, to ensure the best possible welfare and outcome of all the animals. The Charity is currently fundraising to build an Animal Hospital that will provide onsite routine and non-routine veterinary treatments, and urgent medical care. It is our mission to build this hospital using quality materials from sustainable sources, thus having a positive impact to our local environment, as well as providing a much-needed medical base for local wildlife and domestic animals in need. ALL proceeds raised from the sales on this page will go directly into the fundraiser for this new venture.
