This is Tilly, a 10 year old Westie x Norflolk terrier. She has ruptured her left cruciate ligament in her stifle. Due to her age and underlying health problems, surgery was not advised by her Vet, so instead I am treating her with K Laser therapy. This was today, before only her second session. She has been totally none weight bearing until this point. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery, she is absolutely delightful.

To my Human Mums & Dads this is what happens to my paws when you take me out in the scorching sun ☀️ when the pavements are so hot ! Remember I sweat through my paws so in this heat I can’t get rid of my sweat as my paws are burning. Please let me just relax indoors and take me out when the sun is down !🥰

Čuvajte jih in prosimo, uporabljajte zdravo pamet🧠

About Kristy and the K Laser

Kristy qualified from Midhurst Grammar School in 1993 with 9 GCSEs. After a weeks holiday she started working full time as a trainee veterinary nurse in a small independent practice in Midhurst where she had previously been working as a Saturday receptionist and holiday trainee.

In May 1994 she transferred to Chris Serjeant’s practice in Haslemere (later to become Total Pet Care Ltd) as they had a busier and more varied case load.

After registering as a formal trainee veterinary nurse Kristy went on to study at Berkshire College of Agriculture, took her exams in December 1997 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in February 1998.

In 2002 Kristy became Head veterinary nurse at Total Pet Care Ltd, over seeing training of new trainees and her normal nursing duties. In 2005 she became Practice Manager.
