🐶 PLEASE be careful with your pups when the temperatures get to this level - no dog died of missing a walk, plenty do from heatstroke or suffer burnt paws on baking hot tarmac/sand. Nala here is very smug that she gets taken out for walkies at 7am 🐾

☀️ Happy summer solstice! And what a gorgeous day. Please remember to keep yourselves and the VIPups safe in the heat. We have several pups that are currently only being walked before 9am, and no walks being taken between 1-4pm. Some great tips from Dogs Trust, and Nala + Tess ft. White horse 😃 🐾

🐶 Understandably a lot of local dog owners are very concerned about the Alabama rot in the area and the heartbreaking deaths from Moreton 😢 Some simple advice from Dogs Trust around symptoms to look out for. Any vet would far rather see a pup and it be 100% fit and well than it not be checked. Anyone who walks at the ford and is looking for new areas to walk feel free to get in touch and I can send some suggestions. 🐾

🌞 Notice to all existing or potential customers - whilst this weather is lovely, it is not so great if you have 4 paws and a fur coat! I am currently not taking any dogs out between 11am -4.30pm, and even at these times am visiting woods and other shaded areas. Instead during the daytime hours I have been making home enrichment visits and toilet breaks if the owners are not home, then moving walkies to early/late. Even if it means I am out by 6.30am and finishing walking my pups at 10pm!
