They say you always remember your first CC. I will certainly never forget what happened this weekend
I still can't believe it, but these are the results from Birmingham National Championship Show

As if that wasn't enough, in the challenge for Best of Breed, we were with his daughter, Ginger, (top puppy 2023) who had just won the B***h CC. I don't think I've ever been so proud and happy in a show ring. It's a day I will never forget.
I couldn't have been here though, without Lindsey Barnes and by extension Kelly, Andy, Kelvin, (and Ada!!) from whom I chose and was allowed to have his dam, the stunning Isla (Diamondridge Distant Beat of Kazembe) and who allowed me to use on her the gorgeous Redford (Diamondridge Di Caprio) (twice!) producing my stunning Ezra, and Orla (and their beautiful Uma.)
friendship, which Alex and I will never forget.
Thanks so much to those who helped me yesterday, (I almost went home after tripping over on my way in to the showground with the dogs and my trolley, skinning my knee and tearing my trousers) for lending me a sewing kit, and glasses so I could thread the needle and sew up the tear. Little things like that mean a lot to me ❤️ Every single one of the congratulations and messages, video calls, photos, and hugs (thank you Ellie and Alex for the gorgeous photos) means the world to me.
Well done Alex too with Ezra's gorgeous daughter, our homebred girl Korra, Kazembe Cult Classic who is always in the ribbons and took home a 3rd and VHC in good company yesterday. That girl can move!
Congratulations to all the other winners too, the RCC and BCC are both dogs I love and felt privileged to be in the ring with ❤️
