Located at The Orchards on Barlands Common, Bishopston, Swansea, our boarding kennels and cattery offer your pets a warm, comfortable and loving atmosphere to stay in whilst you enjoy a well-deserved break! The aim was to create a new kennel that concentrated not just on the physical health of the boarding dogs and cats but also on their mental well-being. Contentment being something that you real

ly do have to work at. Although we are a relatively small kennels we are by far the most experienced in the Swansea West area. With having over 30 years of continuous working experience in animal husbandry. As kennel life is so vastly different from home life, we've made our kennels more of a happy summer camp environment, with lots of new things to see and experience but also with a set daily itinerary so that pets get to know there'll be a down time for a daily nap. Our standards are very high, from cleanliness to the quality of foods we provide and applied to everything we do. Our cattery is a separate entity ([email protected]) that stands apart from the kennels. You'd have to see the cats just to believe how chilled they are ,we have some of the largest cat chalets available. The cattery is light and airy and has a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of window sunshine, heated sleeping quarters, scratch posts, toys and pots of fresh grass to mooch in. If you are new to the whole pet boarding experience , you can either email/message us here for any questions you have or phone the kennel line and leave your contact number for us to return your call.

As we are receiving so many Xmas enquiries.
Our Christmas hours are Closed Christmas day and Boxing day and New year's day.
Unfortunately Christmas eve and New year's eve are both Tuesdays.
Whereas we would normally be closed, we will be open for the morning hours on both eve's, as a courtesy to our regulars.

Sorry folks for lack of communications. Yet again the storm took out our electric supply , along with router also flooding the premises with liquid mud in many buildings.
Power finally back at 1.30 today, went off yesterday evening. Bridge also flooded, so not much to do other than sit it out.
Finally finished cleanup this evening and
hoping no repeats tonight.
Will try to catch up on mail tomorrow.

Hi folks,
Just a brief update on our telecommunications. Since the renewal of our Internet router due to the electrical storm some weeks back, we are struggling to get the new WiFi telephone system consistent.
BT have now done away with the land line (as this system is now being rolled out across the UK). Unfortunately having the phone reliant on the Internet is causing problems.
If you cannot get through to us or answer phone, then next resort is email, which should land at some point with us.
BT have said it should be sorted soon.🙄, famous last words.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused, it's the downside of living in a valley. 😁

Unfortunately the weather at present is causing some difficulties.
Our bridge and surrounding areas are totally submerged and are impassable.
For today's customers we can do little other than phone you as soon as water subsides and there is a driveway.
