So January was a very busy month and it’s taken until now for our hands to warm back up 😂😅
There’s only a couple of times of the year that we are not fully booked and we managed to make the most of these to get a new roof on the main block and new tiles to replace the lino flooring also in the main block. This should keep it quieter with the rain and a few degrees cooler if/when we get a summer 😂 ☀️
As always, a big thank you to Simon our Builder who helps us to complete these jobs-okay he does the work and we help him 😂

UPDATE-Purfect home found 🥰🥰🥰

FURRVER home needed for a beautiful 10 month old kitten.
Due to no fault of her own (change in family circumstances) she is looking a for a furever home.
Recently spayed, vaccinated etc.
She is shy at first and will need a room of her own within your home as a base camp to relax and then you will see her true personality shine.
She would be suitable for a quiet home with older children/adults and can live with other cats if a slow introduction is done.

I do not want to share her photo as I do not believe this is the right way to choose a cat by window shopping-but she is beautiful 😻. If you think you have a kittenish shape hole in your heart and home please drop us a message and we can give you further information

Patti Claire Sue and others have worked relentlessly over the last few months to secure stray kittens found at an M4 service station nearby. Mr Tabz was the last to be trapped last week, thought to be feral, as you can see from the video he clearly isn’t, but has no microchip and no owner! We really want to help this guy get the care he needs whilst he is living it up in his private penthouse so he’s already been and to see the vet already, and he’s booked in for the full works Monday! These street cats normally need a dental sadly after getting injured/eating anything they can get their paws on🙀. He’s got two cracked canines so needs this doing and that’s the expensive part, at the moment that’s going to be done as a separate operation to stop the risk of infection.  if anyone can donate to our go fund me page or even better call Drove Vets directly if you have any spare pennies to put on our vet account (Purton Cattery) we will be forever grateful. Every time someone gives us a tip/an extra few pounds when they pick their cats up it all goes directly onto our vet account so thank you 🙏 We have £450 left after his last vet trip on our account already but need to raise £600+ (cats protection pay for the neuter ❤️) to get this guy sorted on Friday. We have a rescue placement lined up for him, but as always rescues all over the country are full to the brim and have no spare funds. (unless anyone falls in love with him before then and wants to rehome him 😘) thank you 🤩

Hey, remember Dusty who we found at the end of the village heavily pregnant and had been on the streets for months. Look how amazing her and her five kittens are doing 😻 If you can support Cat watch rescue shelter please do they do amazing work! 🙏😻🙏

Well, we are absolutely blown away and astonished in a good way… Dougal who hisses at us most mornings when we go in his pen and doesn’t let us stroke him as he is a little timid-decided yesterday to meow at me for his breakfast. Today he has decided he would like to be my friend. This is a brilliant breakthrough and shows he is comfortable with us 🥹❤️ It just shows that these street cats just need a little bit of time and patience. Dougal really needs to go into a home with people that will understand him and let him come out in his own time. He is FIV negative. (just to clarify, he will be able to go outside once in a home. It will just take a couple of months to ground him to his new home before he’s able to adventure out.) Thanks on and off-line donations he’s all up together and ready to go to a new home 🏡 😻 Who can offer this guy a couch to sleep on? 🙏

Let’s get Denzel a furever home!🏡 ❤️ He is loving a home environment and is thriving! He has the biggest purr, loves fusses and is getting used to playing with a toy 🥰 He is a youngish ex street cat, neutered, chipped, flead, wormed, has had a dental. (Will need a restart vaccination course. He is FiV positive so will need to be around calm cats or be an only cat. He will need monitored access to the outdoors (secure garden/catio) Home checks will be required so we find him a home that suits his needs. Please please share 🙏 I would love to keep this boy, but as we already have Lucky-quite a dominant ex street cat, who is FiV positive, we can’t sadly..

Ex street cat Denzel purred for the first time today 🥰🥹 He had his dental yesterday and had two teeth taken out that were rotten and obviously he’s feeling a lot better today. A big thank you to Lucy and Jenny at Drove Vets 🥰 He’s now in our spare room so we can get him used to living in a home environment as we think he’s been on the streets for a long time. He’s estimated to be around 5-8 years old, (impossible to tell with any adult cat)-he’s looking for a quiet home (he is FiV+) so please please share so we can find him a loving home, and thank you so much everybody who has raised us money to help Denzel and Dougal with their vet treatment the last few weeks. We have over £400 in the pot still 🙏💪 so we can continue to help local cats who need our help ❤️😘 #adoptdontshop
