Thanks to his incredibly willing, trainable and easygoing nature, Otelo has been showing himself to be a truly versatile allrounder this year as he really starts his ridden production.

Otelo is a lovely mover with 3 super paces and an athletic, scopey jump. He has started local dressage and showjumping competitions, been cross country schooling, done group fun rides, team chased and can be regularly seen out hunting with Bloodhounds. We can't wait to get him out eventing next!

Otelo has the most wonderful kind, friendly, sweet and cuddly nature. His temperament really is exceptional, he just takes everything in his stride.

Otelo brings athleticism, talent, trainability, versatility, a kind and gentle nature and will lighten a heavier mare without adding too much blood.
2023 is Otelo's first season at stud and he is being offered at an introductory fee of £400NFFR fresh and chilled. Viewings welcome!

We are so proud of Otelo and his performance on Saturday at the stallion event. His first time ever for this kind of show and, although he found it a little overwhelming in the ring, he behaved impeccably throughout and really enjoyed meeting new people!

Otelo at his first dressage test with us. He was an absolute star, going into the ring completely cold straight from the lorry bit giving it his best shot with some lovely comments from the judges. Can't wait for the next one!

Andalusian stallion rocking the blue and black Exmoor combination bridle out on a fun ride today. Thanks to the handy removable bit fittings this young stallion was able to travel comfortably in the lorry in the headcollar part of the bridle without the bit. It was then just a case of clipping the bit on, meaning there was never a dicey moment taking the headcollar off to put the bridle on and it also meant he wasn't tied to the vehicle by his neck!

Otelo was absolutely spectacular at his first ever showjump competition! He was completely unphased by the atmosphere and activity and really did take everything in his stride, as if he had done it 1000 times before.

As you can see he really did give us his best effort, jumping 2 super rounds with Jess and giving us a real glimpse of what's to come from him in the future. What a star!

Otelo had such a great time out cross country schooling on the weekend for a photography day with Indy Equine Photography . He has come on so much since he first went out schooling in September and it was brilliant to see him growing in confidence. I can't wait to share the photos with you!

Otelo impressed us yet again out schooling over a little course of showjumps for the first time away from home.

He is so genuine and tries so hard to get it right, he gives every fence his best effort, with happy ears!

He is still very much a baby so we are taking things slow to really build his confidence but his attitude is just fantastic. It's hard not to get excited and look to the future!
