⏸️ PAUSE ⏸️

Unfortunately, due to lack of time and availability I have had to make the decision at this time to temporarily pause my books and will be unable to take on any new clients at this time.

I am SO unbelievably fortunate to have such a wonderful group of patients and I am so grateful for all of the new patients I have received through word of mouth over the years. There is no better feeling than being recommended to someone because of the impact you've made on the lives of others pets. I will update my page as and when I am able to take on new patients again. Until then, here is a picture of Scoobie, getting super comfortable and relaxed during his treatment ❤️

THANK YOU so much to everyone who supports me and puts your trust in me to help your furry loved ones, past and present 🐾

This little guy is recovering well following a fractured leg..he has been signed off by the vet and is progressing well with his exercises! He learnt his sit-to-stand exercise today and did them like a little trooper! 🐾

H was one of my regulars when I ran a pet services business 12 years ago... Now we have met again but for physio this time, to help keep him mobile and comfortable as he gets older 🖤 I feel so honoured to get to provide this service to all my lovely patients 🐾

Following injuries, I will always strive to get dogs back to their previous exercise levels. Sadly it is not always possible, or appropriate, when aging and general wear and tear is working against us. However, although realistically this handsome boy may not be able to return to the same level of competition that he was doing before, this weekend he was able to go and have fun in a casual agility class which he and his owner absolutely loved. Well done D 🧡🐾

Pretty Perdi was feeling sleepy after her treatment yesterday. We are working on reducing pain, improving movement and some weight loss to help keep her active and comfortable in her senior years 🤍

I was teaching today for Improve Veterinary Education UK on their Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation course and had to take our newest family member in with me. She certainly enjoyed all the attention she was getting from everyone and even came home with her own Improve International bandana 💙

Poor Dottie had a rough time last year. Following a very successful recovery from her first IVDD episode, she had another disc extrusion which really affect her ability to stand and use her back legs. Her recovery second time around has been a lot slower, but Dottie is a fighter and she loves being able to get herself around again. We have been treating Dottie with physiotherapy, laser therapy, hydrotherapy with the team at Woozelbears and exercises that her owner has been doing with her at home. She may always be left with a slightly abnormal gait, but with time she will continue to improve and get stronger ❤️ Well done Dottie 🐾

This gorgeous boy really got settled into his treatment yesterday 😍 This is one of the many reasons I love offering a mobile service - patients are saved from having to travel and they get to relax in their home environment. When a patient is relaxed and comfortable, it allows me to perform a more thorough assessment in order to better treat their condition and improve their outcome. Animals can't walk in and tell me where it hurts, so as veterinary physiotherapists we rely on what we're feeling with our hands and how the patient is responding to this. These responses are more obvious when the patient is less stressed and without distractions. If you'd like to find out more, don't hesitate to get in touch. Jools 🐾

🐇 Rabbit Rehab 🐇 Something a little different for me, but I am seeing this gorgeous little dude to help with his arthritis and general mobility issues. It is only a week since since his first treatment and his owner has already started to notice positive changes, which is fantastic! 🐰🤍 if you notice early signs of mobility issues in your pets, physiotherapy can help to ease discomfort and improve this before it gets worse. I will be doing some more informative posts about signs of osteoarthritis and what we can do as veterinary physiotherapists to help so watch this space. Jools 🐾

You may have noticed a few tweaks being made here and there over the last few weeks, whilst I changed my branding slightly to make my details more reflective of the range of patients I treat. This still predominantly consists of dogs, but now also includes other small animals including cats and wildlife. My new website and email details are:
