*Hot Weather*

Please take care in the hot weather when walking your dogs. It is recommended to walk your dogs early in the morning and late in the evening when it is cooler. Your dog will not die from missing 1 walk but they can die from heat stroke. If you cannot stand barefoot on the pavement for more than 5 seconds then your dog cannot either.

I will not walk a dog in temperatures 21c-22c and above. If you have any dog walks booked in when the temperature is too warm they will be changed to drop in visits. This is where I’d let your dog out in the garden and give them fuss and some play instead of a walk.

Shelby is a nervous dog when it comes to new people. We are slowly making progress. When I first came round she would bark and would not come near me. Today she felt comfortable enough to take treats from my hand which you can see in the video. This makes me so happy.
