We are thrilled to share that Willow is now found!
Her owners mum & friend caught sight of her going down to a cellar this morning. Following our instructions, they both remained calm, talked & acted normally, as if she was walking with them. Then, when walking AWAY from Willow, Willow followed them & allowed them to catch her!
We are so impressed with how they handled the magical moment. The hardest thing ever is to go against your natural instinct & ignore the dog you have been worried sick about & searching for for days! A very happy reunion indeed!
Big thanks as always to the Drone SAR For Lost Dogs UK team for working with us on this lost dog case, pooling resources, equipment & expertise.
We are now moving our traps to a new location in Atherstone, to help catch two other dogs, that at this point, are believed to be ABANDONED. We will keep you up to date with their case.
But for now, I'm sure you'll join us in wishing Willow & her family a joyful day, full of rest & well deserved snuggles!
