Sat with my diary today filling up fast for holiday stays and day care also if you have a holiday booked and need to cancel your walks can I please have as much notice as possible even if its a few months down the line I'd rather know earlier then later as mean I can plan my days and have family days /afternoons and you then don't get charged a late cancellation fee x

Also I have space on a Thursday afternoon for a solo walk this can be for a nervous /reactive dog that wants adventures away from the busy hustle and bussel town life /or a 1to1 training session

Also testing the water for weekend walks this would be a morning walk on a Saturday and possibly a Sunday afternoon

SO KENNEL COUGH IN DOGS

ARE YOUR DOGS VACCINATED ITS NOT MANDATORY BUT ALWAYS RECOMMENDED

my dogs are vaccinated every year for kennel cough and puppies can be vaccinated at 12 weeks with their 2nd jabs ,it reduces the risk of dogs catching and lessens the symptoms, so here's a little bit about kennel cough and what to look out for ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿฆฎ๐Ÿ•โ€๐Ÿฆบ

If your dog has been spending time with other dogs and now has a cough that sounds like either a goose honking or something is stuck in their throat, then itโ€™s possible that they may have kennel cough. So what is kennel cough, how do dogs catch it, is it dangerous and what should you do if you think your dog is affected?
A summary of kennel cough
Kennel cough is a type of infection that usually causes a persistent hacking cough that can sound like a gooseโ€™s honk
If you think your dog is affected then you should phone your vet for advice
Kennel cough is not dangerous to most dogs, but can be more serious to young puppies, older dogs and dogs with underlying health conditions
Most healthy dogs recover on their own without any veterinary treatment
Kennel cough is highly contagious and if your dog is affected then you should keep them away from other dogs
You can have your dog vaccinated against the most common cause of kennel cough and this may be required if your dog stays in kennels or spends time with lots of dogs from different households (e.g. doggy day-cares)
What is kennel cough?
Kennel cough is a respiratory infection that can be caused by a number of different viruses and bacteria and is easily spread between dogs. This infection causes a dogโ€™s voice box and windpipe to become inflamed and makes the dog cough. Kennel cough is not dangerous to most dogs, but is more severe in young puppies, older dogs and some dogs with underlying health conditions.
What are the symptoms of kennel cough?
Most affected dogs will develop a persistent hacking cough that can sound like something is stuck in their throat or like the โ€œhonkโ€ of a goose.

Signs of kennel cough can develop from as early as a few days to two weeks after being exposed and can last for one to three weeks.

Apart from a cough, most dogs are usually otherwise fine. Some dogs may also show other signs, including:
Sneezing
A runny nose
Discharge from the eyes
Not wanting to eat
A higher temperature
Less energy than usual

People always look for treats and snacks for their dogs did you know you can feed all these as snacks even in the summer if you freeze carrots helps with teething to our girls love some veggie snacks when preparing our Sunday roasts reduces waste to

What Vegetables Are Good for Dogs?
If youโ€™re looking for a healthy, simple treat for your pup to eat, here are some of the best vegetables to feed your dog. Just make sure to remove any stems, leaves, seeds, cores, or pits. Also, thoroughly wash the vegetables and cut them into small pieces before feeding them to your pup.

Broccoli
Broccoli is full of fiber, but be aware that it can cause flatulence. This vegetable also has antioxidants, digestible plant protein, and vitamins and minerals such as vitamins C and K, potassium, folic acid, magnesium, sodium, and chromium.

Celery
Celery has a high water content, and itโ€™s high in fiber and low in calories. It contains vitamins A, B, C, and K, plus folate, potassium, and manganese. However, celery must be de-stringed before you give it to your dog.

Green Beans
Green beans contain vitamins A, B6, C, and K, along with protein, iron, calcium, and fiber. They are low in calories but help your dog feel full, and (bonus!) most dogs like this veggieโ€™s natural sweetness. Just make sure the green beans are unsalted, as salt can harm your pup.

Cauliflower
Cauliflower is high in fiber that, while safe for your pup, can cause your dog to be extra gassy. It also contains vitamins C and K, calcium, potassium, and folate. Cauliflower is low in calories and makes for a healthy, dog-safe treat.

Lettuce
Lettuce is a dog-friendly vegetable thatโ€™s low in calories, full of fiber, and 90% waterโ€”so itโ€™s great for hydration. Romaine, arugula, and iceberg lettuce are all fine for your dog, but spinach and kale can be harmful in large amounts.

Carrots
Carrots are a great choice for a healthy dog treat, but they must be given in moderation because they are high in sugar. Carrots are high in fiber and low in calories, and they contain beta-carotene, which produces vitamin A. They are also fun for dogs to crunch, and most dogs will love them because of their natural sweetness.

Bell Peppers
Any color of bell pepper is safe and healthy for your dog. Bell peppers are filled with vitamins A, B6, and E, lutein, and antioxidants like vitamin C and beta-carotene. They can help promote skin, coat, and eye health for your dog.

Zucchini
Plain raw, steamed, or cooked zucchini is safe for dogs to eat in small pieces. Zucchini is low in calories, fat, and cholesterol. Itโ€™s full of fiber, antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins A, C, B6, and K.

Brussels Sprouts
Brussels sprouts are full of fiber, antioxidants, and vitamins A, B1, B6, C, and K. But beware that too many can cause flatulence and other stomach issues, like an upset stomach or diarrhea.

Cabbage
Cabbage is full of antioxidants and fiber, which helps your dogโ€™s digestive system. It also contains folate, protein, potassium, calcium, manganese, magnesium, iron, riboflavin, and vitamins A, B6, C, and K. However, cabbage can also cause increased flatulence.

Spinach
Spinach is safe for healthy dogs in small amounts. However, this leafy green contains oxalates, which can lead to kidney stones and bladder stones in susceptible dogs if eaten in large quantities. It also has isothiocyanates, which can cause severe gastric irritation in large amounts.

Mushrooms
Regular white mushrooms from the grocery storeโ€”when completely plain and washedโ€”are safe for dogs. Do not give your dog mushrooms that are cooked with seasonings and other ingredients that are unhealthy or even toxic to dogs, such as garlic or onions. Dogs should also never eat any mushroom that you donโ€™t buy from the store.
