Some amazing news has come to light!

Finally cat microchipping will become compulsory on 10th June 2024!

The new rules mean all cats have to be microchipped before they reach the age of 20 weeks old and their contact details will be stored on the chip and kept up to date in the pet microchipping database! So this means that all owners must have their cat microchipped by 10 June 2024 and owners found not to have microchipped their cat will only have 21 days to have their cat/cats microchipped, or you as a cat owner could face a fine of up to £500 for not doing so.

Chipping is a very safe and effective way to keep your cat safe and registered to an owner for more than just one reason! finding them if they get lost or found been a very important factor and most cats won't even feel the implantation of a chip, it is a very quick process.

If your cat is already microchipped then please check that all your contact details are up to date to make sure you get any calls with concerns about your cat if lost/found 😊😻😺🐈🐈‍⬛🐱🐈🐈‍⬛
