FOSTER HOME FOUND - one of our lovely previous adopters has taken him to be fostered

‼️ BRIAN needs a foster home

Gorgeous chunky boy Brian needs a foster home

He wants extra cuddles and his poo is much better now.
He is not ready for a home just yet and we would like him to have further TLC and love.

It needs to be a spare room/space away from other cats and you need to be able to get to drive to vets in Telford or Shrewsbury. We can’t always get drivers unfortunately.

Foster home check applies but we cover vet costs, equipment and supply all food.

Foster cats have to remain indoors.

Message if you can help.

We are so grateful for your support.

This gorgeous mumma is amazing despite everything she’s been through. She loves to give hair nibbles.

YUKI UPDATE ❤️

Yuki had a dental today and had 7 teeth out and a recheck of his bloods.
He’s no longer showing anaemia and his bloods showed no issues.
The vet cannot believe he survived with FIV, anaemia and the awful abscess he had.
Our Yuki is a super star and we are so happy he’s almost ready to find a forever home where he will never have to worry about anything again.

We are NOT accepting enquires about our poorly flu babies as they are too sick and it’s far too early to be discussing that.

When they are ready, a post will be put on the page and we will choose the most suitable homes.

As always, we appreciate your support.

🐾50p FRIDAY 🐾

Firstly, we hope everyone is safe after all the bad weather.

If you’re new here as we have recently had quite a few new followers, 50p Friday is all about raising much needed funds that cover our ongoing costs such as vet bills and food. Normally, we only ever ask for support on a Friday but we have had a few cats that have needed to come in urgently who have required a lot of support. That is what we are here for so we don’t mind putting all the time in to help them but unfortunately vet bills aren’t cheap (but our vets are amazing I may add and give us discounts and help where they can).

We have the flu kittens and their mumma who are on 3 types of medication and we are hopeful won’t need eyes removing as Helen is working super hard to save them.

We have Brian who is a long term stray who came in battered and in abit of a poor condition who is having a poo sample after going off his food and having loose poo.

We have Joni who had a night at the vets after her kittens all dying (3 had passed before she was surrendered to us 5 days ago). She was dehydrated and has needed antibiotics. Thankfully she seems to be on the mend.

Miss Holly Pudding, an older gorgeous black female cat who was living in a bin shed, needed a dental and xray due to having slight issues with her walking. Sadly it showed she had an old injury to her spine which has healed badly so we can’t do anything about it. She also had bloods to see if she was ok otherwise.

That’s just a few examples and there’s all other cats who have been to the vets this week plus all the neuters and routine meds for our long term cats.

We know lots of people have donated this week as we have had to raise funds for emergency vet trips etc but if you can help, we would really appreciate it because as it stands, we cannot have any more intakes until these bills are cleared (added to photos).

You don’t need to send a lot to help and we appreciate you supporting us. Thank you 💖

If all of our followers (nearly 7000) donated 50p, that’s one of our bills cleared and would be such a relief after a really rough start to the year.

We have the best followers and it shows with all the kindness you send and words of support, along with the donations.

You are amazing thank you!

Duke is shocked that any cats could be out in the cold weather.

Get your cats in if they are out and if you are feeding a stray, can you take them in during the cold and if that’s not possible, can you provide straw not blankets (they freeze) in a cat house or a plastic box with a hole for them to get in and out.

We have already taken in an extra cat today and have someone out looking for another who doesn’t have a home. We aren’t going to let them out again after the bad weather so would end up taking more in when we don’t have the space or funds. It’s not that we don’t want to help, but there has to be a limit sadly.

Everyone needs to help and work together when it comes to this. We would love to save every cat that needs help but we can’t so please do your bit.

FLU KITTENS

Thank you for all your messages of kindness. It is shocking that they have suffered this way but they are now getting all the treatment they need.

They are maincoones (not full) so likely from a breeding situation with mum carrying a flu type virus and they were living in a shed outside in the cold.

A swab was done to check they are on the right meds but have eye drops and antibiotics with things to help snuffles as well.

We have been asked about donations which we massively appreciate.
We were reluctant to ask again as we have asked so much but we are in a rubbish position with our vet bills as still owe £3.5k from December and money for Koa and her Mumma which hasn’t been fully paid.

Here are the links to donate and we will do 50p Friday tomorrow as well.
