The road is closed with no access this morning. 👎🏽

We have contacted everyone with bookings this morning & will be contacting those with bookings this afternoon.

The workmen advised that there maybe access this afternoon but to be safe, its probably best to assume there will be no access throughout the day.

Firstly, apologies for anyone who was affected by today’s disruption at short notice!

Tomorrow (THURSDAY) the workers are tarmacking & will be informing us at 7:30am which end acess will be available.

We will pop another announcement on as soon as we know so please keep checking back for updates.

‼️ROAD CLOSURE‼️

Roadworks & resurfacing is taking place on Roundhill Road, from Tomorrow (25th) for 5 days.

We will update each day, for access the following day ✅

⭕️ Tuesday 25th - access will be via the Hurworth end’.

⭕️ Wednesday 26th - access so far will be via the ‘stadium end’. We will double check thia tomorrow afternoon once the work has started.

We hope everything runs smoothly, but if you do have any issues, please get in touch & we will do our best to help!

📢 Polite Notices 📢

Just a couple of reminders on a lovely sunny Saturday ☀️

🔐 Please ensure the gates are closed & locked when you are leaving the fields. See photo below, if the latch is just slid across like this, it wont be secure as the gate can still be opened.

The latch must be over the part with the hole in, so the padlock can be threaded through both parts ✅

🗑️ Please ensure you are putting rubbish into the bins. Yesterday we have had a dog pick up some chewing gum which luckily the dog walker managed to retrieve before it was eaten & potentially caused harm to the dog.

💩 We have noticed an increase in dog mess being left in the fields. Please ensure you are watching your dogs & picking up after them at all times. Its not only untidy, but it spreads diseases & some dogs have a nasty habit of eating it.

Please note, we do continue to monitor the timing of the mess, to establish when this is happening & any repeat offenders.

Spring is on its way, lets keep the fields a clean, tidy & safe place to walk those doggos 🐕

A little bit about us ✨

Who are we?
We have sites across Darlington, Hurworth and South Kilvington. 🗺️📍

South Acres offers dog fields, ranging from 1.5acres to 7 acres, each completely secured with 6-foot-high fencing and privacy mesh where applicable 🙈👀

What's the goal?
Our fields have been designed in consultation with canine behaviour experts and dog trainers. 🫡

We understand that some dogs can be nervous, anxious, reactive or simply just prefer not to come back when the owners ask them to! 💨

So, we wanted to provide a safe space for owners, professionals & most importantly, dogs to enjoy off-lead freedom in our fields. 🐕
Our fields are perfect for exercise, training and exploring without the worries of any distractions. 😸🐇🐿️

What's in it for your dogs?
50 minutes of zoomies in a relaxed and safe environment. 🤩🙌🏼

Depending on the site you choose to visit, there are enrichment activities such as sand pits, tree-stump jumps, climbing frames, herb jungle, long meadows, clover patches, agility equipment and a straw-bale. 🪵🌿🌾

Every site has fresh drinking water & in summer months, most fields will have a paddling pool for the water lovers to enjoy! 💦

What's in it for you?
50 minutes of stress free, fresh air.✨

Secure parking 🚗 , picnic benches and the not-so fun bit ... bins for your dogs waste! 💩

There are also hosepipes for those winter months if your dog is a mud-monster! 👹

How do you book?

Select which field you wish to visit and pick your date/time via our slick booking system. 📆
You can pay securely by either PayPal or Stripe. 💰

What happens once I book?
You will receive a confirmation email that will also provide the padlock code for your chosen field. 🔐

You just turn up, use the code to access the field, close the gate behind you & the field is exclusively yours for the next 50 minutes. 🐶

Once you leave, please replace the padlock & lock it up ready for the next person. ✅

You should be able to access from both sides if you tell the traffic control where you are going.
