DIY LIVERY – ONE STABLE AVAILABLE NOW

As well as all our incredible onsite facilities, we are also blessed with direct access to great hacking routes straight from our yard.

If you pop along to our website ‘About’ page, you can view the Sustrans map for the actual routes you can take; Route 647 and 64.

No need to travel down country lanes or main roads, you can literally ride out from our yard straight onto the routes that run through/adjacent to our land.

Harvesting our own water not only improves our sustainability, it provides a more natural source of water for our horses.

Cleanly collected and stored rainwater is thought to be better for horses as it is not loaded with any additives that may be in tapwater and it is more like the naturally sourced water they would drink if in the wild.

We currently have one stable available at our DIY Livery, Carr Farm, Thorney, NG23 7DQ

Had a bit of fun the other night playing with the arena lights for our Halloween reel.

We literally had two riders moving from the rear of the arena to the front, whilst Stuart shouted instructions to Sara, for switching lights on and off 😆

Our bit of fun demonstrated how incredibly powerful and effective the arena lighting is 👍

Recently installed at Carr Farm Livery

This incredible wooden horse sculpture. The phenomenal professional chainsaw sculptor Simon, created for us.

See here the various stages from a large oak block in the workshop, to Cadwell Park, and then finally to our equestrian centre here at Thorney.

The detail in the carving is just stunning! We opted to paint the carving to add extra definition to the details and help protect the wood.

We had saved an old mill stone. One of those interesting objects that you wonder how you will find a home or use for, but you know you just need to have. Now makes a perfect foundation for this incredible sculpture.

A HUGE thank you from everyone here for all the hours and hours of work and craftmanship Simon.

With our Steve Hill flood lit arena with its combi-pro surface and newly installed arena side dedicated fence stores – never has it been more convenient to access quality training facilities.
