Hi everyone 👋🏼 Just wanted to reintroduce myself on this page as it’s been a little while!!! I’m hoping to offer some ad hoc slots around my full time work!

My name is Laura and I run Laur’s Paws on my own!! 🐾 I’m 23 and have been in and out of the pet industry since the age of 17. I have two cats of my own, Loki and Zeppelin! 🐱 I currently live in Tipton with my partner and will be offering my services to surrounding areas. I work full time in retail and also rent out equipment for weddings and parties! 🎈

I will be offering drop in visits, solo dog walks and occasional overnight stays if I’m available. Please drop me a message if you are interested in booking! I will be updating my availability every couple of weeks ☺️

Hi everyone! 🙌🏼

Just a quick update as I’ve had a lot going on personally these past couple of weeks.

I have taken on a part time job again, averaging from 8 hours a week up to around 25 hours. This means my walking availability will become limited again. Unfortunately I can’t rely on walking alone due to my current circumstances!

I will try my best to fit my regulars in as and where I can, although some weeks this may be difficult! Please contact me if you have any concerns about walks and I’ll see what we can sort out 😌

On a positive note, I am able to take on overnight stays where suitable with my work pattern! Prices begin at £40 per night for this service 🐾

I will check out the forecast and work out the safest options for my clients over the next week or so. With articles saying Birmingham will hit 36 degrees, I am assuming I will have to cancel all walks and only offer drop in visits!! ☀️

With the weather reaching on average 23/24 degrees today and 28/29 tomorrow, I will only be offering early morning walks and visits in the day as it is too warm for dogs to be out for an hour.

Hi everyone, just a quick one regarding covid!

I know it’s basically all done with now and there’s no laws with isolation etc…. However, if I do test positive for covid, I will still be isolating until I get a negative result as I don’t feel comfortable bringing it into anyone’s home!

I have been in direct contact with a friend who tested positive today (less than 24 hours since I have been in contact with her). I have done a test this afternoon which is negative. I will also be doing one before I leave the house tomorrow and before my first lot of walks next week to be sure!

If anyone is uncomfortable with having my services after being a direct contact, please let me know and I can work out rearranging some walks for you! 🐾

I have availability for one more dog near the Pelsall area to join my first group walk at Bosty Fields (secure dog walking).

Wednesday 6th April 1pm-1.50pm

£12 per dog for 50 minute off lead group walk

Requirements:
- Must be dog friendly including large breeds
- Must travel well in car
- Calm during car journeys
- Recall must be relatively good
- Cancellations require 48 hours notice to be refundable

❗️PRICE CHANGES APRIL 2022❗️

First of all I would like to say a huge thank you to all of my lovely clients who have supported my business for the last 3 years! I sometimes still find it a little crazy that I'm able to run my own business doing something I love!

To continue doing what I love and providing a top service for all of my clients, I will be making some changes to prices and how I run Laur's Paws from the 4th April 2022.

My new rates for walks and visits are pictured below. I will also be looking to offer group walks for those that are suitable!

Requirements for group walks would be:
-Local to cannock area
-Well behaved during transportation
-Dog friendly
-Okay with recall training as it would ideally be off lead
All group walks would take place in a secure dog walking field initially, just for extra security and safety!

Another significant change I will be making is to reduce my days down to 3 days. I am hoping to work Tuesday-Thursday. As some of you may know, I run a busy wedding rental business along side Laur's Paws! My new hours will be 8am - 5pm daily. I am hoping to schedule the group walk for around midday, once a week to begin with!

I understand that these changes may not be suitable for everyone so please don't hesitate to drop me a message if you have any concerns!

My car is currently in Stoke and I will have to rely on breakdown cover first thing tomorrow! We all know how long that takes most of the time….

Ginger had another amazing time at Bosty Fields : Secure dog park 😍, we’ll be doing it all over again on Monday! 🐾

I took Ginger to Bosty Fields : Secure dog park today for the first time! He absolutely adored it as he doesn’t run off the lead normally 😍😍 Excellent facility for dogs without great recall, reactive or aggressive dogs etc. Dave was very helpful as it was my first time. I’m sure Ginger will be there again as soon as possible!

Dolly is having the time of her life in the snow!😂😍
