Weather improving ☀️ 😎 so gone are the days of stuffing all this in pockets! Hoping it will work much the same as an umbrella…that by always carrying a first aid kit…will never need it 🤞😅
Plenty I will need each walk though, like waste bags, fresh water and the all important snacks 😋🐾

(Possibly room for one more in this 11am slot as they often come along on different days as and when shifts require)

Dog Walking:

Sociable dogs who are happy to be walked in a group £10 (1 hour)
Solo walks £15 (1 hour)
Sociable dogs happy to be walked in a group £7 (30 minutes)
Solo walks £8 (30 minutes)

**Also hoping to offer a two hour long forest/beach walk for super active dogs, alongside my Pointer, maybe once or twice a week. This would only be for dogs over 12-18 months and that can be happily off lead with other dogs. Price £20.

Price includes collecting from your home and fed and dried upon return if required (food must be prepared and ready to feed)

Prices are for Monday-Friday walks. Weekend walks available by special arrangement. Also prices can be subject to discounts for multiple dogs from the same household and for anyone wishing to book any of the walks on a 5 day weekly basis.

All dog waste will be picked up and disposed of hygienically

Dog check/comfort break:

Let out into the garden or mini walk to toilet. Feeding and water check if required £5 (10 minutes)

Dog sitting:

Contact me for more details. Price dependent on duration, number of dogs etc but approximately £20-30 per day. Flat fee £10 for additional dog from same household.

Cat checks:

£5 per visit.
Each visit includes feeding, refreshing water and litter tray cleaning. Free cuddles and fussing so they deign to speak to you on your return! Hopefully…

New dog walking service based in Tobermory!

For those of you who don’t know me, you’ve probably seen me out and about with Bailey, our 5 year old male black & white English Pointer.

I am fully insured and police checked (PVG scheme record already in place as a registered childminder). Documentation is available to view. I will also be completing a canine first aid course as soon as Covid restrictions allow but until then will look to complete an online course.

Initially thinking about hour long walks, for well socialised dogs that can be walked in a group for around £10 per hour. Dogs can be collected from your home, then returned (dried, fed, settled and given water as necessary). For the first few people to sign up to this service on a weekly basis (5 days) there will be an introductory price of £8 per hour for the first year. Happy to start off with smaller ad hoc requests too!

I am also hoping to offer solo walks and shorter half hour walks for older dogs or puppies who would benefit from the extra socialisation. Since lockdown, puppy classes have all stopped and with everyone avoiding each other it is more difficult to socialise a new puppy.

I have set up a page but don’t expect too much on there yet until I’ve figured out how it works, not a big social media user 🤣

So if you have a dog that needs an extra walk that you can’t provide (due to changing work commitments, or Covid related self isolating/shielding or other health issues) please get in touch for an informal chat. Perhaps you are thinking of getting a dog but unable to commit to daytime walks, maybe even an older person wanting the company of a dog but not the commitment of being out in all weathers!
