Some of you may know that we sometimes sell random stuff in store, but we don't have the room most of the time to display it.

I know it's been a long while since I've posted, last month has been alot 😞

But I'm back! And back with a splash with the majestic donut Frank 😂

Frank is now part cat part donut 🍩

I'm going to try and post a couple times a week to get back into it!

Sorry for not posting 😔 a very sad update.

We have some sad news to share about our ginger boy Jasper 🧡

It will be one whole week tomorrow since we had to say goodbye to this very special boy.

As you all know I love every single cat with my whole heart ❤️ and every time a cat gets ill, sneezes, coughs or something out of character with them I panic.
Some may say I'm paranoid or over reacting. I say better safe then what could be.

With the cats we have lost over the years it never gets any better and a piece of my heart breaks every time 💔 we learn to numb ourselves with them leaving and put on a brave face. But the pain will always be there forever.

Jasper has touched alot of hearts over the years and will keep doing so for years to come.

With Jasper it's hard to put into words how amazing this boy was, how scared he was before we got him.

If you didn't know Jasper and his sisters Belle's story, they travelled all the way from Romania where they were kept in very small boxes and didn't know how big the world outside was.

They made there way to Romney house cat rescue where they stayed before we found them. Two year old cats that new nothing but pain and a small enclosure.

Until one day was hand picked by paws cat cafe, and traveld for over one hour to there forever home with four other friends. (Lots of stopping along the way to make sure they were all ok)

Then the next couple of days was teaching them that it was safe, not to be scared and no longer have to worry about being cold or when the next meal would be.

A cat who was so stressed he got ulcers in his eyes, a cat so scared thought a litter box was the safest place, a cat so scared we had to catch three times a day to put eye drops in.

But unfortunately their happy ever after was put on hold, as the rescue phoned and said there had been a mistake and they were reserved for someone else and we had to take them back.

Only two days had past when we got another phone call from the rescue saying the people who had them sent them back as they were to much work!

Of course they will be hard work, scared and alone being shipped around to different places. We said we would happily take them back and that this time they would stay and know one will be taking them again.

Alot of you might not no how different these cats were back then, to the happy snuggly affectionate cats they are today.

With lots of hard work and dedication, blood, sweat and tears they are definitely our most accomplished story.

And that brings us to today, how do you tell a sibling who can't understand the human language enough that her brother is never coming home. That she is never going to go to sleep next to eachother or play fight?

All I can do to reassure her is that she is loved and give her extra cuddles and kisses as many as she needs ❤️🧡

To my baby boy 🧡 know that you may be gone but your memory will be with me always. I will always remember the cuddles and football games we played. And can't forget the love bites you did on my nose and chin.
You don't have to be afraid, Ginny, Harvey and Minnie are waiting for you so run free my beautiful baby boy and remember me 🧡

Typing this is one the hardest things, and it's through a lot of tears, because writing It makes it more real... 💔
It is with great sadness that we must update you of the sudden and very unexpected passing of Jasper, our beautiful ginger boy.
Friday morning Jasper started having some difficulty breathing, which progressively got worse over a 30-minute period, he was rushed to the vets and put onto oxygen and given some medication to help.
The Vets carried out an ultrasound scan which showed that there was some fluid on his lungs and an underlying heart condition. Soon after Jasper suffered a cardiac arrest.
He went peacefully and was not in any pain.

We have taken a few days to process this, and the staff are still struggling with this huge loss. Jasper was a firm favourite, and we are devastated he will be so missed.
