Just a wee reminder there are no walks this coming Friday as I'm off to Crufts with my mum. Mum is a pro as she's been to show her own dogs and just for fun, its my first time can't wait! 🐕🐾🐕🐾

Pics from our first & 3rd walk . Our walks had lots of distractions today, why it's important for us to practice recall & staying in at the side regularly. On our first walk there was a bus load of nursery children walking through the woods towards us so we moved out the way & kept the dogs focus on me until they passed. 2nd walk there were 3 police quad bikes on the path we were on so again the dogs were recalled & put on the lead to let the police passed. Our 3rd walk was busy with groups of walkers and other dogs out walking so lots of recall and sitting waiting patiently for other people to pass. Tired paws all round tonight I think! 🐕🐾😴

Tuesday shenanigans! 2 up close Deer encounters today, first one at Butterdean when the Deer casually walked out in front of us 🦌 by some miracle everyone listened to me & didn't chase it.
2nd one at the lagoons where the Deer was busy eating its lunch and occasionally glanced to see what we were doing. Thankfully the dogs were otherwise distracted 😄

Butterdean woods storm damage.
For anyone that uses butterdean there are several huge trees down on main path and surrounding paths. The first enclosed field the fence at the back is completely down. 🌪
