Claire's Companion Care "The Auntie Your Pet Will Love''

All my years I have been an animal enthusiast and have always had a strong passion to work with animals. Throughout my years I have always been involved in caring for both my own and others animals. My experience includes a wide variety of animals from dogs, cats and rabbits to chickens and pygmy hedgehogs. I have a good knowledge and understanding of canine behaviour through my studies and more r

ecently working as Customer Advisor with Just Dogs Shop. Finally, 2015 is the year that I am able to make a life long ambition come true and set up my own business allowing me to spend my days doing what I love the most. Claire's Companion Care has been designed with animal welfare at its heart. My aim is to ensure that the fur babies in my care are provided with a 'home from home' service and owners really do know that their pets are in the best of hands. This is why I am 'The Auntie Your Pet Will Love'. Your fur baby will be treated like I would my own, they will always have my full attention while they are with me and I will be continuously one step ahead to ensure that they are safe at all times. The dog walking service I provide is a home from home experience. Your dog will be walked individually or in small group no bigger than 6 dogs per walk. They will travel with me in my specially adapted van. The experience will be a pleasurable one from start to finish because they will sit in comfort, they can see where they are going and after a short pick up journey they will have the enjoyable experience of an hours walk filled with fun, praise and positive reinforcement. Their journey home will be the same with a drink of water, paw wipe and a treat before being left securely back in their own home. The cost of this service is from £10 for a group walk and £20 for a individual walk. The pet sitting service I provide is in the comfort of your pets own home. Puppy and Elderly Dog Visits – Your pet will be looked after in the comfort of their own home, during my 30 minute visit I will let your puppy/dog out for the toilet, feed a meal, playtime cuddles and make sure all is well. This can be 1, 2 or more visits per day depending on the requirement of you and your dog. The cost is from £6.00 for one visit, from £12.00 for two visits or a package can be tailored to your individual needs. This service is only suitable if you are away at work all day and not for an overnight stay away. Cat and Kitten Visits – Your pet will be looked after in the comfort of their own home, during my 30 minute visit I will clean the litter box, feed a meal, playtime, groom, cuddles and make sure all is well. This can be 1, 2 or more visits per day depending on the requirement of you and your cat. I can cater for your needs if you happen to be away overnight, several nights or more. The cost is from £6.00 for one visit or from £10.00 for two visits

Rabbit, Guinea Pig and Chicken Visits – 30 minute visit twice per day at a cost of from £12.00 per day. Your pet will be looked after in the comfort of their own home, during my visits I will clean the litter tray, feed a meal, change water, playtime, cuddles and make sure all is well. I will let them out into your secure run in the morning and shut them in safely again in the evening. Your animal’s cage will also be cleaned out fully at the end of the week if you’re away for more than just a few nights providing the appropriate materials are left for me to do so. Small Pet Visits – This includes hamsters, gerbils, degus, rats, birds, pygmy hedgehogs and fish. Your pet will be looked after in the comfort of their own home, during my visit I will feed a meal, change water, playtime and cuddles and make sure all is well. The cost is from £8.00 depending on the requirements of you and your animal as well as distance. Please note that I am not able to board animals in my own house. If you are interested in using Claire's Companion Care for your pets needs when you can't be there please do contact me for an initial chat and I can arrange to come out for a 'Sniff Me' (don't worry - owner's don't need to do any sniffing) meeting at a time that is convenient for you and your animal.

I am not usually one for these kind of posts but this is a biggie!!

This week Claire’s Companion Care is celebrating being 10 years old!! 🥳🥳🥳 And what a better way to celebrate, than with a selfie with my two golden girlies Jess and Tia who have been with me from the beginning. ♥️

Can’t believe I have spent a whole decade out in the wind, rain and mud picking up dog poo. 🤣

The fact that I have got to do it with so many awesome dogs makes it all worth while. Most of them leave paw prints on my heart and some of them make wish I still drank alcohol…I won’t mention any names Luna 🤣.

Sending out a warm thank you to everyone that has supported me throughout the years! A special thank you goes to the lovely Gemma who encouraged me to give it all bash all those moons ago and an even bigger thank you goes out to the One in Million Grandma Mary who has been my rock and biggest supporter throughout the years! ♥️

All in all it’s been a fabulous 10 years and here’s to another 10!! 💚

A wee update...I am over the moon to report that I am slowly getting back to normal and all walks will resume as normal from Monday!! 🥳

I will send out my usual weekly texts on Sunday. Please bear with me while I get back up to speed and respond to everyone. It will take me a few days to get back fully into the swing of things.

Good Morning Everyone!

I am going to have to cancel all walks today and tomorrow. I struggled through Tuesday and yesterday and I thought a good night sleep would sort me out. Unfortunately, it has not, I have ran a temperature all through the night and I can hardly move.

Apologies for the early morning text message, I just want to make sure everyone who is out at work today has as much time as possible to make other arrangements for their dog.

I am sincerely hoping I will be back to normal over weekend and walks can resume as normal next week, I will text again over the weekend to confirm this.
