Meet Tiny Tim. He is owed by Georgia (Hale Equine Vets - Vet Tech). He came in for the morning last week as Georgia noticed a skin lump. We biopsied the lump under sedation and he was back home that afternoon. Here he is sleeping off his sedation at home.
It is always advisable to get any new lumps checked by a vet, as although the majority are harmless (benign), there are some that are not and require removal.
The only way to definitively determine the nature of a lump is to biopsy it; remove some cells and send to a pathologist to examine under a microscope. 🔬
