This post has taken a lot of deliberation and thought, and it’s a decision I’ve not taken lightly.

The Cornwall Trec Group hunter trial at Chyverton will be the last event we attend 😢

I'm sure many of you are asking why, so here is the honest reason why I'm calling time.

The past few years post Covid have been hard work, and I have become busier with farming than I’ve ever been before. When I started event photography it was my only income and I could give it the time it deserved. Now my time is split between multiple jobs both at home and on other farms, and sadly something has to give. Coupled with the sad loss of Chyverton Park which has been my regular haunt for many many years now, I think it’s time now to focus all of my time on agriculture, and putting food on your tables 🐮🐑🥩🍔

Sadly the insurance and website costs are too high to just do the odd event here and there.

I’ve lost count of how many years I’ve been in the game now, it’s taken me round the county circuit, to Hickstead, many South West BE venues and lots of country shows and riding/pony club events down here. My trailer was the hub of many shows, especially on a wet day!

So 22nd October will be our last event, it’ll be a sad one for so many reasons but I thought let's go out with a bang, at our favourite event, with our favourite riding club 🖤

The website will remain open until January to give everyone time to get Christmas presents sorted 🎁

Hopefully it won’t rain for the final event 😂 hope to see lots of you there 😌

Hunter Trial Open to All.
Individual classes at 60cm, 70cm, 80cm, 90cm and 90+cm.
Pairs classes at 70cm and 80cm.

Well a week ago tonight we saw our Final Evening Show Jumping at Chyverton Park, and what a night it was!! Over 60 rounds of show jumping, what a fantastic turn out for our final night. Huge thanks to Jane & Steve who have judged these evenings for us over the years, and to Luke Ingram who has built some fantastic courses for us over the past years too. Of course none of these evenings would have been possible if it wasn’t for Nick Holman, and our home, Chyverton Park. Nick we can not thank you enough for everything you have done for us over the past 13 years, we have loved every event we have held with you, you have been a huge support to us and we really can not thank you enough. We will miss our Wednesday evenings with you, and our annual Hunter Trial, but wish you & Mandy a wonderful & happy retirement.
