🐑🐾 Sheepdog training day - Sunday 13th April 1-3pm 🐾🐑

Price £35 per person/dog

Suitable for all levels of experience. Great for those wanting to try it out or for those wanting to develop their skills further.

Each person/dog will get 1:1 time with a handler working with the sheep and is also a great opportunity to watch and learn from each other.

All are welcome for tea and biscuits at the farm house after.

Flora’s labour caught on video. We had our oldest daughter and my nephew there too to witness the births (and getting to stay up late 🤣) From the first video you can see she had been pushing for quite a while and wasn’t making any more progress. I had a check and the lambs head was a little on the side and stuck so she needed a little help. She did the second lamb all on her own though less than 20 mins later. Two lovely marked blue boys 💙💙

Cara was helping Daddy, Grandad and Auntie Kirsteen vaccinate the ewes today. Heptavac is like gold dust and we’re going to have to get more for the lambs once they are born 🙈💉 however… it’s scanning day tomorrow!! How many lambs do you think we will be expecting??? 🎁 Those with the correct answer will be put into a prize draw 🎁

We’ve just picked up three new Shetland ewes. The original Shetlands across the road reacted like this! Do you think they know they are also Shetland’s??? They didn’t react at all when they blue texels were opposite them 😂 our new girls will spend a wee while quarantining and settling in before joining the others. I’ll be sure to film the introduction 😁 we are hoping they are also pregnant and will lamb at about the same time as the others 🤞 (one of those ewes also used to belong to my friend Sophie so we will need to invite her round to see her 💓)
