SNS Livestock We are SNS Livestock, based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. We offer a lamb feeding experience to meet, feed and cuddle our lambs and meet Ted 🐶🐾

We started with 2 lambs and now have approx 150 store and breeding sheep including our pedigree Blue Texels.

Wishing everyone a happy new year.
2024 has been great with opportunities for so many new ventures - lamb feeding, sheepdog training, our first clinic day, attending Macduff Market and Ardo Christmas Trees, buying our pedigree blue texels, selling our wool, attending Wool at Portsoy, our blue texel ewe coming 4th at new deer show, Ted coming 2nd at Turriff Show and Cara getting placed at young handlers and setting up this page.

This ewe unfortunately will have to go next year after she has lambed as she came to us with a club foot. We trim it back regularly to try and keep it as normal and flat as possible for walking but it is becoming a recurring problem for her 😞

⭐️Meet Kirsteen ⭐️

Kirsteen is Stephen’s sister but also my best friend. Kirsteen lives nearby with her two boys and often comes to help with the sheep when she isn’t working. Kirsteen and I make a great team when us women end up left to do it alone 😂
She isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty or get stuck in with any job and isn’t afraid to just grab hold of a sheep if needs be (she’s had the bruises to prove it 🙈).
Kirsteen has now bought her own ewe and a ewe lamb that she’s going to breed from so we can’t wait to see what lambs she gets 🐑
As always we are very thankful for all the help and support we get from our family and friends, we couldn’t do what we do with out you! 💞

The Blue Texel ewes were scanned today. All are in lamb, 4 x twins and 1 x single expected 💙💙💙💙💙 and seem to be all from our Blue tup as well 💙 (long story…I forgot to put raddle on so we weren’t sure who was tupped and who wasn’t so we borrowed my friends Dutch spotted to clear up but turns out the blue boy was busy after all 😃) #tuppingtime #lambs #BlueTexels

This is Boosts first time on sheep. Usually he does a lot of calming training as he’s a big boisterous pup but letting him learn he can use up his energy on the sheep 😁🐑🐾 I just love his markings!
