Loads happening in store this week in preparation for our re-opening. We have new signage above the systems, Claire has been hard at work painting our pond section & of course how could we not mention the huge fish delivery that arrived on Tuesday. 11 boxes of fish have arrived and are looking fantastic. ** Update **

Well thats a wrap on 2024 for us. We would like to thank everyone for the support this year.

We will be back bigger and better than ever in 2025. The new garden centre owners were in yesterday finalising plans for the re-opening early next year. We will provide updates with our return dates in due course but we will be tempereroly closed for a few weeks over Christmas, new year and start of January.

If you need anything in the meantime please contact our Ponteland store who will be happy to help.

***Update***

Unfortunately Thursday 19th December will be our final day of the year as we are forced to close with Dobbies.

HOWEVER we will be back open in January once the new garden centre group takeover the site. We still don't have a specific re-opening date as of yet but will share as soon as we know.

We anticipate this to be a short closure over Christmas and New Year and expect to be back open very quickly.

If you do require anything while we are away your nearest store Is Maidenhead Aquatics @ Ponteland who will be more than happy to help.

Let's celebrate the good news that we are staying at Gosforth Garden Centre. As a thank you for all of the support we have received from you in the last 2 months, this Friday, Saturday and Sunday we will offer 25% discount on all of our aquarium fish 🤩

As always we offer free of charge water tests so please bring these in with you for extra peace of mind.

✨ An️nouncement ✨️

We are delighted to finally be able to announce we will be STAYING at Gosforth Garden Centre.

Exciting times await for the garden centre as once Dobbies vacate the premises a new garden centre group will be taking ownership. After numerous discussions with the new owners we are extremely excited by what they have planned for the centre and also the area.

The new owners are very much committed to restoring the garden centres reputation as one of the best garden centres in the north east and we are delighted to be part of the plans.

I would personally like to thank each and every one of our customers for all of the concern and well wishes we have received during the last 2 months, we have been touched by all of the support from you all ❤️

We are currently unsure of exact timescales however at this moment in time I expect a small transitional period over Christmas and new year with the aim of re-opening in January. We will keep you all updated.

As for now, we are open as usual and full to the brim with everything you would usually expect. Dobbies last trading day to the public will be the 19th December, we will see over the next few days if that also means this is our last day of the year, if so we will enjoy a well earned break over Christmas and New year ready for the big return in January.
