Nature Inspired Aquarium Hardscapes

I started Naturally Aquatic with the idea of making it possible to create amazing aquascapes without have years of experience or spending lots of money. One or two of my designed hardscape pieces is all you need to turn a boring flat looking tank into an inspiring aquascape. I started fishkeeping 6 years ago and almost immediately I wanted to

create amazing planted aquascapes. After spending lots of money on a number of pieces of wood and rock, I began to construct my first scape… it looked awful. It was very fast and i ended up spending more money on more wood to prop up the original wood id bought. My hardscape designs are simply placed in your aquarium, cover the base with your substrate, and plant as normal. As well as my hardscape finished pieces I’ve also been working on a few other inventions I think you and your fish will love.

Our Story

Naturally Aquatic was brought to life from my passion to create amazing home aquascapes. In my own pursuit of the perfect aquarium, I found that often my ideas would fall short, lacking depth and focal points. Not only that but the money spent on buying new bits of wood and rock became very expensive. I could never find the right piece for my project. My solution was to pre-design and build a hardscape, much like the pieces you see available in the store today.
