Bonnie is super excited to let you all know that we are now stocking Goodwood chew sticks.
Bonnie loves to chew especially sitcks, however alot of stick are not safe for dogs to chew on. Which is why we give her Goodwood chew sticks that are made from 100% coffee tree wood.

(During the process of chewing , fine wood fibres are released by the dog's saliva. These are harmless and can be digested without a problem. Not suitable for puppies under 3 months of age and supervise your dog when they are using the chew stick).

Training dogs to be comfortable and relaxed having a muzzle put on, is possibly one of the more important things owners can teach them. You never know when you may need to put a muzzle on your dog, for example, to prevent them from eating potentially harmful things from the ground or they may be nervous around people, other dogs or have a high prey drive. The most likely time a dog will need to be muzzled is when they have to receive veterinary treatment.
Going to the vet can be a scary experience for any dog, especially if they are not feeling well or are in pain. When a dog is comfortable in a muzzle, veterinary staff can be more relaxed when examining or treating the patient, reducing the risk to themselves while keeping your dog’s stress levels as low as possible. No matter how friendly or well trained a dog is, if they are scared, injured or in pain - they can bite, it is just a natural reaction.
This is particularly true nowadays, when owners are often unable to accompany their dogs into the veterinary practice. Knowing that you have done your best to prepare your dog for this, can give you peace of mind. No one wants to try to get a muzzle on a dog who is already stressed as it will only serve to elevate their stress levels, but if your dog already sees it as a normal part of life, not just vet-visits, they will cope much better.
