Beau came in matted, so she had to have a fresh start and that’s absolutely fine. 💕
We, as groomers have no choice but to shave them down, leaving your dog shorter than you would like, for their health and welfare.
Mats can cut off the air flow in your dog’s hair and can trap moisture, which can cause irritation and sores on your dog. Even mild matting can be painful, but in severe cases, matting can cut off circulation to your dog’s skin.

Mats can be avoided by regular brushing at home and regular grooming appointments. 🐶

I always try to make your dogs look beautiful even with a short cut. 💕
