February has gone so fast, can’t believe we are in March now already! Our events start again next month 😆

-Sneak peek, although we might be delaying our launch as we are having a few problems! As you know we trial and test our products to make sure we are 100% happy with them before we even think about selling them. These are currently testing my patience slightly 🤣

2 beautiful girls! So sad to read stories like this! People do not deserve dogs 😔

***** Dumped by owner *****

These two adorable spaniels are looking for a new home after being heartlessly dumped by the owner.

Cookie (Tan female - approximately 8 years old ) and Lady ( Chocolate female - 7 years old ) are two wonderfully sweet girls who are needing a new home together.

The owner came to our shelter demanding we take these dogs immediately as despite her having notice from her landlord for the dogs to leave, she had not done anything about this , and the dogs now had to go. We explained that we would help, however we did not have a spare kennel for them immediately but we had some dogs leaving and we would ring her as soon as could accomodate them.

The lady became abusive and left our shelter, only to drive straight to a local vets and dump them there for the dog wardens to collect.

Attending a charity and demanding that they make room due to their own lack of both care and responsiblity to their pets, not only that but to then put the dogs at risk by dumping them to an unknown future is unforgiveable.

They were very much in need of a good bath and freshen up - Both require vet treatment for ear issues, Cookie requires an eye operation and Lady requires some extensive dental work. These issues have resulted from neglected general dog care and have now manifested themselves into much more serious care requirements.

It is a harsh reality in todays climate that some people are dumping dogs on both the dog wardens and vets - When we say, we have no space - it means, we have NO space at that time - so what do they think will happen to their dogs ? We want to help, of course we do, and we will, but these people need to do the right thing by their animals and just WAIT for help instead of trying to use a 'back door' entrance to rescue - because this simply does not guarantee the future of their dogs.

Cookie and Lady are lucky - As we told the lady, we could help, just not right at that moment, but she wasn't willing to wait a few days.

Cookie and Lady have lived with children so we can rehome them with calm, sensible children over the age of 5 years.

They may be suitable to live with another dog, suitable to the right match and successful meet and greets.

They have not lived with cats.

These two will be undergoing the required vet care to bring them back to how they need to be , so if anyone would like to donate towards their care - we would be super grateful.

⭐️HELLO JANUARY⭐️

Happy New Year to everyone, I’m a few days late posting my recap but let’s be honest who knows what day it actually is 🙈

-Haltemprice Christmas Fair, our last event of the year! It feels like so long ago already!

-I have been well and truly spoiled by all my dog walking customers this Christmas 🥰 feeling very grateful!
